Carl and his crew took down 3 mature (40 ft) juniper trees for me and were prompt, professional, kind, fast, efficient, precise and clean. There are not enough good adjectives to describe their excellent job taking care of my yard. Carl even took the time to clean out my dryer lint that was clogged in the vent! He used to be a roofer and saw that the tree branches that had been on my roof did some damage to the siding, got his ladder and went up there and fixed it no extra cost. These guys are GOLDEN! The work was done very well, and right on time. The price was very reasonable and Carl Suthard clearly and patiently explained what should be done and why. The people who came out to do the work were professional and careful. But in addition to that, they were compassionate and went out of their way to be helpful when they discovered a need. Carl and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price. They cutdown a tree I no longer wanted, removed some large branches from another tree in the backyard and removed dead branches from a very large tree in the front yard. They removed all limbs from my yard, raked my lawn and used a wood chipper to haul away all the waste. Carl even pointed out some flashing on the roof that needed to be nailed down. While they were removing the trees, he fixed the flashing at no charge. Great service!

We had two very big trees fall during the wind storm that landed on our fence and on another still-standing tree. The trees were precariously perched above more fencing and our new deck. Carl Suthard Tree Service was recommended to us by our home renovators, Bryan Construction. Carl did a great job, worked fast, quoted under the insurance payout, and cleaned it all up nicely. He even helped put a shingle on a neighbors roof just because she asked. Nice guys, great work.

Carl came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate for a dead pine tree. He came with his crew and was ready to do the work if needed. He noticed that there were some small trees abutting my garage and expressed concern that they would compromise the structure. No problem with the work but the price was too high.

Carl showed up at my door unsolicited on a Saturday afternoon. He was doing work in my neighborhood and noticed the dead tree in my front yard. He introduced himself and said he saw the dead tree and wanted to know if we would like an estimate to have it removed? He was very personable and seemed knowledgeable. He quoted $100 to remove the tree down to ground level. He sad he could grind the stump for an additional $50 but said I could have him do that at a later time if I wanted (I would also need to get Miss Utility to mark incoming lines). I told him to go ahead with the tree removal. While doing so he noticed that there were some twigs sticking out of the gutters. He said he would check the gutters out to see if they needed cleaning. While doing so he found that my ridge vent had pulled away from the roof in a very significant way. Also that there were some shingles cracked at the gutter level and that a large piece of aluminum had pulled away from the ridge line. He took pictures and showed me where the repairs might be needed. I greatly appreciated his thorough review of the situation and helping me to avoid a leaking roof and potentially significant inside water damage this winter. He gave me an estimate of $200 to fix the roof issues and clean the gutters. I asked him to proceed. He and his assistant did an outstanding job, quick, professional and cleaned up very well afterwards, I would highly recommend him and his team for any tree work and home improvements you may need taken care of.

for your I have been doing business with Carl for many years now and he has always worked hard to accommodate and willing to go beyond to make sure his customers are happy and satisfied.  He is personable, shows up on the jobs and double checks work performed by his folks.  I have never had a bad experience and highly recommend Carl for you tree service needs.

Very easy to talk to and professional. They do a lot of work here in Heritage Hunt (Gainesville). I thought they only did tree work until I saw them doing some repairs on a roof nearby, so I talked to them and they were able to do the work that afternoon. I think I could go back to them if I had questions or an issue in the future.

Carl Suthard and his service did an excellent job on my boyfriend's grandmother's house. He was very efficient and courteous. She needed some debris removed from her roof that was there from a recent strong storm. He climbed up and completed the job beautifully. We would definitely use him in the future for tree work and recommend him to others.

Carl was not able to do the Job himself but referred to Jose (who works with Carl).
Jose was very professional and were responsive to questions I had.
The job was completed quickly and with quality although a slight bit rushed I thought.

They were punctual, thorough, cleaned up well afterwards. They were very professional and they did a good job.

.The gutters were cleaned and the downspouts were checked. The roof was blown clean of the thick pollen which collects everywhere at this time of the year. All the gutter nails were tightened. The area around the house was cleaned up afterwards. While on the roof, Carl reattached a loose vent and a flood light which had become loose.Thee latter chores he did on his own initiative.
The removal of the tree branches went smoothly and the results were quite satisfactory.
We were very pleased with this work. Carl's demeanor and approach to his work is very professional. He obviously cares very much about his business and reputation. He deserves the top grade he already has on Angie's list. We will certainly call on him if we need tree service or mulching done in the future.

I called Carl to bail me out of jam when a previous contractor left us high and dry on the removal of our outdoor holiday lighting. Carl came out the very next day and he and his team took down all of our holiday decorations, even the tricky icicle lights on the roof of our house and stacked them neatly away. They then cleaned out our gutters and bagged all the debris. They also took the time to blow all our leaves out and away from the house. Excellent job!

Carl returned my calls and kept me informed. I felt his price was reasonable considering the enormous size of the tree and the labor necessary to cut it up and haul it away. I ended up having him take a few small trees down while his crew was there.

CS Tree Service removed dead brush from our front yard, mulched our large beds and did an excellent job of planting new azaleas in front of our house. They also cleaned out our gutters after all the terrible rain storms late last summer. All, in all - did a terrific job and will have them out a gain.

Carl and his crew arrived on time. They went out of their way to make sure the shrubbery was cleared by the mulch and that debris wasn't just covered. My neighbor has very mess, very old, very lovely pine trees that present a tedious cleanup job. These folks did it well and efficiently. There were a couple of points along the way where there was a question about how to proceed. I was very glad Carl asked my preference rather than just assuming he knew the way to go. I'd use them again.

Today, Carl and one other guy arrived early to lay the mulch (and, it's very cold out.) They brought much more than many of the "big" names around here have ever brought before, so it's nice and thick. And again, as before, they did more than asked. He even raked my yard. $217 for two guys for four hours plus materials? So, I gave them an extra $30 cash for lunch. I asked them to call me in the spring.
