He had to remove the unit from the wall to get to the wiring. It was a difficult job but he did so quickly and without complaining. Cleaned everything afterwards.

I contacted ABC appliance about my microwave and told them that it wasn’t critical so whenever they could come out was fine. They called me back about 10 minutes after my initial call and told me they had a tech in the area and he could stop by in the next hour. The tech came by at the time promised and quickly figured out that it was a major problem as the main board was out. We asked a few questions and he answered all of them quickly and professionally. He told us that he would get the price on the parts and labor and would give us a call back with the information. The part I really respected was that he recommended we look at replacement appliances so that we could make an informed decision about replacement or repair as it was an expensive repair. I appreciated his honesty.
He called us back the next day and gave us the price on the parts and labor. We told him that we would call him back and let him know what we wanted to do after we completed our research. We decided to do the repair so the part was ordered and the service tech made an appointment to return. He was on time again and and installed the new part. the new part immediately burned out and it turned out the damage was worse than the original diagnosis. He told us that it could not be repaired and did not charge us for the part he had ordered. I would have argued if they had charged us but I appreciated the fact that they didn’t even try.
He showed up on time, he was honest with us, professional and willing to answer our questions. He went above and beyond when he

repairs.

These guys are terrific. We seemed to have gone through all the bad ones until we found ABC, but at least now, we know where to go. Would highly recommend them. Helpful, punctual, reasonable, professional.

I spoke with Aamir when I called ABC Appliance Service regarding two improperly functioning burners on my gas cooktop. From the start, he was polite, responsive and very professional; I was already pleased to speak with an actual person (as opposed to the voicemail boxes or automated systems I was immediately directed to when I called several other local companies), and the fact that he sounded quite knowledgeable and was willing to come out within a couple hours of my call only added to the sense of satisfaction I felt in choosing to go with ABC Appliance Service for my repair work.
Aamir himself showed up, as promised, within two hours of my service request call, and continued to prove himself to be a consummate professional - even when one of my dogs tried to spring a and quot;sneak attackand quot; on him as he rounded the corner to the kitchen (Aamir not only kept his composure, but also spoke quite nicely to my boy, who then decided the and quot;threat leveland quot; could be lowered and joined his buddies out in the yard once again.) He worked efficiently and quietly and gave me a complete breakdown of his diagnosis, which I thoroughly appreciated (as I have an analytical mind and *LOVE* to understand the and quot;why's and wherefore'sand quot; of problems/solutions. I also appreciated the fact that he took the time to explain everything in detail - it's been my experience that service/repair men usually talk down to the and quot;little ladyand quot; of the house rather than bothering to explain the problem. It was so refreshing to not have to deal with that typical condescending attitude!) He told me that the parts that were causing the problem (the electronic igniters on both faulty burners) had to be ordered and would take 2-3 weeks to come in; when I asked him if they would install it sooner if I ordered the part myself (as I found it online for a lower cost and a shipping time of 1 week), he said he'd be happy to do so...and even gave me a discount on the cost of labor (since I was going to the trouble of ordering the part myself!) Really impressive! He'd already gained points in my book for the fact that he was fine with me getting the part from someone else in order to save some money, but to drop the labor rate as a courtesy? THAT is a level of quality in customer service that is practically never seen anymore! I have to say it again (and again!): Impressive!
I must admit that I was initially tempted to go with another company that charged a lower service call fee ($20 cheaper than ABC's $59.95), but having read only excellent reviews on Aamir's company, the fact that he was willing to come out the same day for the initial service call, and his fantastic level of professionalism and courteous manner on the phone all sealed the deal - he (and ABC Appliance Service) are DEFINITELY worth the extra $20! (And anyway, who knows how much the other guy would've charged me for the same repairs?!)
All-in-all, I don't think anyone would regret their decision to have their appliance serviced by Aamir or one of his colleagues at ABC Appliance Service. I wish more companies - in all categories/fields - would extend the same level of quality customer service!

Following the 13 July thunderstorm, for which we lost electrical power, the oven display did not work. When the oven door was opened, the oven light worked, but none of the controls. I called ABC Appliance Service [14541 Jansbury St, Gainsville, VA 20155, 703-939-0133] on Friday, 15 July at 1230 to request service. Scheduler said that a service technician could be at my house between 2-4 PM that day. The technician called at 1445 and reported that he was +/- 20 mins out. Arriving at 1505, the repairs were completed by 1600. The technician was very professional.

The technician came the same day I called (from quite far away) and quickly fixed both problems. In addition, he looked inside the drain mechanism for some missing wedding rings. No luck, but that worry is now gone. Thanks ABC!

The experience was very good. He called to let me know he had the service kit within 2 days of my estimate and came out and replaced the parts. No more squeaking.

The gentleman who came was very courteous, polite, and he did not over charge. He came at the time which he specified, told me what was wrong with the refrigerator and checked my other appliances. He told me that my dishwasher is not running great and he gave me good suggestions. He did everything he could do.
