They were nice and friendly, and took 2 trees down with a bucket truck, so they get a star for each of those. However I had several issues-their equipment broke down twice during the day so they had to leave and come back. They were to clean up a tree of mine that fell in the road and when I came outside and saw the mess remaining on the other side of the 1 lane road they said "Oh I though you only wanted the pieces on this side cleaned up." They were to grind stumps in the front but they didn't go all the way down so I had to point it out to them to redo it. While up in the air with the bucket truck trimming damaged tree limbs from an ice storm there were dead vines hanging off which he could've easy pulled off in 2 seconds to make it look nice but when I asked him to do it he complained that he can only do so much work in one day because he gets tired. They cut down a short tree trunk in my back yard and ground the stump, but I couldn't get the grass to grow for the last year and this year figured out it was because the stump was not ground all the way. Then they were supposed to come back and pick up the tree pieces but they never came back, even though I called them multiple times and they cut them so big that I could not even move them, and I had great difficulty trying to cut them up myself since they then had petrified this year and are still laying about back in a large burn pile in massive pieces since I couldn't cut them any further. Also 1 guy chain smoked the entire day around my cars which was annoying since I hate cigarettes and had to leave the windows closed to my house.

"We bent over backwards to help [Member Name Removed]. There is no pleasing this woman. I truly believe no other contractors will work for her and now I know why. Our initial meeting for an estimate lasted over 1 hour. Usually my estimates take 10 to 15 minutes. I explained to her the things we can do and the things we can't over and over. Going back and looking at the same stuff over and over. This does upset me because this woman is impossible to work for and it took everything I had not to walk away from that job. Everything we did was followed by a knock on the door to make sure that portion of the job looked ok. I asked her at the very end of the job """" ARE YOU HAPPY"""" and she said yes. This review is a vendetta against me because I didn't go back to do the other work she wanted. The absolute worst customer I have ever worked for. There was no way I would ever go back to work for this woman."

Wayne is a pro and a pleasure to deal with, here is what happened: We were having a new deck/screened in porch added to country house, once the structure was up, we felt an existing tree was a little too close for comfort and our contractors didn't feel comfortable taking it down. I hopped on Angie's list, searched for tree service, found Wayne, this was Monday at 6pm, I called him at 6:05, he said sure I can check it out and take it down tomorrow at 9am. I went to sleep, woke up, went to work, got a call from Wayne, he gave me a quote and said he could have it down shortly. Wayne took the tree down with skill and proficiency, a tree that was 3 inches from a brand new structure, he also inspected other trees around our house and gave us a full report. His ability, availability and professionalism made this process painless. We will definitely be using Wayne for any tree service we need.

He came as soon as the weather permitted and performed the work according to our agreement/estimate. He was professional, polite and thorough. He called after the work was completed to make sure everything was fine and that I was happy with the work done. The work he did exceeded my expectations and I was very happy with the result. I will definitely call him again with my tree service needs.

Wayne and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job at what I consider a fair price. They showed up on time, completed the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. When I need a tree service in the future I won't even think of calling anyone else.

Wayne was prompt in returning my phone calls and providing an estimate. Very nice and very professional. Did a great job of cutting back everything needed. My only concern was lack of safety equipment (hard hats, goggles, etc). His crew was friendly and professional as well.

Wayne contacted me promptly after I send a message through Angie's list message. We had 4 trees that were close to the house and outbuildings that needed to be removed. The work was done a few days later and only took 4 hours! The price was reasonable and they even chipped and removed the old wood. Also, the stumps were cut down nice and low. We even found that some old branches that had fallen on the garage roof were removed, which was a nice thing since we hadn't thought to ask. We will definitely be calling them again for any future tree removal and would recommend to any of our neighbors.

The owner of this firm was very professional and came out to my home on time and gave me an estimate that I felt was fair. We arranged for he and one of his employees to come out with his equipment to remove this tree the next morning. They arrived during the time it was sleeting and freezing rain and did a wonderful job. I will certainly hire this company again. I was able to save money by telling them I would take wood off property and they needed to stack it on my property.

Wayne was prompt to return my initial call. We met the next day where he provided a fair estimate of the work. He set a time and date to perform the work and then he met all expectations. Additionally, he provided some insight and information on how to care for a couple of fruit trees on the property. Overall, we liked working with Wayne and will do so again as needed.

I have NEVER given a written recommendation for a service contractor in my life - but if you are looking for a tree service contractor then look no further than Shenandoah Tree Service ... I sincerely can not recommend them highly enough. Advice was extremely helpful, work done set the standard for professionalism, clean up was supreme and the price was very, VERY reasonable and fair. They did exactly what they said they would do (and more) and if they told you they were going to be somewhere at a specific time then you could set your watch by their promptness. I truly can not think of even a minor complaint or a "I wish they woulda" about the job they did. In short - they set the bar so high I don't think I will ever be as satisfied with another contractor again - - if you call Wayne you can be sure you called the best.

He was very prompt and communication was great. The project was done in 3 days, due to weather. Trees were extremely overgrown and Mr. Fisher brought them to correct tree configuration. Will be anxious to see how trees grow out properly.
He had several helpers that were very kind and gracious to my mother that was on the job site. They cleaned up the area thoroughly, with very little debris left behind.

Wayne climbed the trees and dropped all the branches precisely where he wanted them. Not only did they not cause any damage to the fence or anything else in the yard but they did a fantastic job of cleaning up all the debris. They arrived on time for the estimate and the job worked on Saturday so we could be home without charging extra. The team worked very well together while being efficient at their work. We added the job of pruning the maple tree with no problems. Highly skilled workmanship and teamwork. We are very happy with the result; it is what we wanted.

Wayne and his team were top notch. Arrived early, finished early. I was absolutely stunned with how well they cleaned up - I was expecting to come home to a wasteland, and I came home to a yard that was cleaner than I was planning on having to make it. Extremely professional, courteous, and helpful when it came to consulting and recommendations. He offered cost-saving alternatives, and didn't push any work on me. I plan to have him back for more work in the future, since I couldn't afford to get everything I needed done at once. But I absolutely got what I paid for - and that's a rare find when you're paying for quality + efficiency. A+

I emailed Shenandoah Tree Service and received a quick response. They came out to gave me an estimate for the work " very fair" and set up a time to perform this. They called the night before just to remind/confirm there arrival the next day. Once here they reviewed what they were going to do and did it. They where very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Good show!!!

LOOK NO FURTHER!! Shenandoah Tree Service is the one to go with. They gave an estimate within 24 hours of my first phone call and it was priced very fairly for the work to be performed. They came on the same day and completed all of the work. They were professional, courteous, and made sure all of the work completed was to my satisfaction. I am very satisfied with the quality and care of their work and would use them again and recommend them to others!

I would recommend Shenandoah Tree Service to anyone. Wayne came to the house the same day I called to give me an estimate and did the work the next day. Both meetings he was on time and calmly informative about what he thought would be the best process. His price was very reasonable. I appreciated how easily and smoothly the task just got done.

It went perfectly as planned. Provider completed the work in one day and returned a second to meet with me and ensure I was satisfied. He worked with my budget as well -- the original quote was to limb-up and remove trees plus clean up branches and debris afterward. In order to save a little money, I asked if he would do only the limb-up and small tree removal, leaving the clean up for me to do later. Very cooperative and friendly. I would definitely use him again for future needs.
