Waste Management

We've had intermittent problems with Waste Management over the years having to do with missed pickups.  But recently they've completely stopped picking up our recycling.  It's been 4 weeks since our last Wednesday recycling pickup and despite assurance from customer service (3 calls!) that it would be picked up, it hasn't been.  We've not had any coordination to date from anyone at Waste Management to answer for these issues aside from the customer service people I spoke to the 3 times I called them.

I think the service is OK but am frustrated that each billing cycle the price increases.  I've repeatedly asked for recycling pick-up but have not received any repsonse.  I have found that when I actually speak to someone on the phone that I can usually get my issues resolved but that price keeps going up!

We've had our trash collection service with them since 2008. I don't know what's happened recently, but the service has deteriorated over the last 3 months.  In the past, they'd forget our pickup once every couple of months and skip us during bad weather, but they have "forgotten" to do 4 of our last 8 pickups.  
The Customer Service reps on the phone are great - courteous and trying to be helpful - but you get a different one each time you call and each one has told me something different.....one said she'd set up recurring payments for me, the next says that's not possible, it wasn't done, and I shouldn't have been told that.  One said I could pay a bill over the phone and didn't mention any fee, the next says there's an $8 fee for processing payments by phone.  One says a truck will be sent, the next says so sorry that didn't happen, but one will be coming soon....
After they forgot a pickup they'd rescheduled to retrieve one they'd forgotten before, I asked to speak to a manager.  I also asked for a call-back during the "Customer Satisfaction Survey," which they request you complete at the end of your customer service call. No one has called.  
I gave them a "C" rating because their service was okay in the past. They do charge more than other services, but I was willing to pay that because I thought they were a good company (environmentally responsible) and wanted to support their business. They'd probably be okay if you live in town or close to a lot of their other customers so they wouldn't be as likely to forget you.

THEY ARE PRETTY DEPENDABLE. IF THEY MISS YOU, AND YOU CALL THEY WILL COME BACK OUT. THEY ARE GOOD ABOUT REPLACING THE CANS. THEY WILL HELP ME TO DRAG THE CAN OUT.
