Absolutely amazing experience with Veterans Choice Roofing! From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and honest. My roof was damaged in a storm last year and I had it repaired 2 other times by other contractors, but the leaking persisted. No fix. Veterans Choice came in, did a thorough analysis of what and where the issue was, and then fixed it for far less than I paid the other 2 contractors that did not fix it. I wish I knew about them the first time, I would have had this problem fixed a year ago! Once I decided on Veterans Choice, I spoke with Dylan and explained my frustration at not having the problem fixed by the other companies. Dylan told me they were going to find and fix the problem, and guaranteed it. I chose Veterans Choice and they set up the repair date. They came early in the morning (0730), were prepared and professional. Awesome A+++ service! I HIGHLY recommend if you want an honest, clean and professional job completed.

I was on the fence about getting my gutters replaced, but after the last rain we had I noticed that my downspouts were leaking so I googled a few people in Fredericksburg. Veterans Roofing was one of the companies I decided to call for a quote. Patrick Hayes called me and set up an appointment for him to come out to my house and give me a quote. He was on time very knowledgeable, very personable and being a veteran myself, He and I hit it off and connected immediately. He was not pushy nor did he try to upsell me. Patrick provided me with the quote , we shook on the deal , signed some paperwork and four days later the crew came out and replaced my gutters and downspouts. Patrick was very knowledgeable and even asked me what I thought about black gutters! Never knew there was a choice other than white! I am so glad he recommended the black gutters and downspouts, they look absolutely amazing on my house !!! definite shout out to Veterans Roofing and Patrick Hayes !! Lisa Toscano

Original review: It's really unfortunate that I have to give them 1 star, but unless things improve I can't give them any higher. Lionel came out a month ago to talk about options, get a quote, etc which was great. Very professional and helpful. About 2 days after we got the quote, I got a call from Josh saying if we put the deposit down today, they could get the fence done the following week. Okay, cool no worries. I put down the deposit and don't hear from anyone, so I call them. Time frame is install in 2 weeks, okay no worries I'm sure there were other jobs that got scheduled that day before I made the deposit. Then it gets weird: pallets of this start showing up in our yard with no one having communicated that things were being sent nor when the fence was getting installed. I called them, after having to do a Google search to see what this was and why it was showing up in my yard and realized the name on the package was the company owner, and I'm told another 2 weeks. Okay well, this can't sit here for 2 weeks. Lionel had to come out twice to pick up these things. They called me yesterday (3/10) to ask if there was a delivery made yet and they could get things going. Concrete was delivered later that day, so I called and let them know. I was told they were trying to figure stuff out with materials (it was very vague), and they would call back that day. Never got a call back. Today was supposed to be the 3rd (?) reschedule for the fence being installed. I called at 10am since no one bothered to contact me back yesterday. Now I'm told they basically have no idea when my fence is getting installed. I point blank asked twice when it was getting installed, and got the run around of "well we're hoping next week". Yeah, I've heard that multiple times before. I'm currently looking over the contract to see if I can get out of this; we were waiting to see how they did on the fence to decide if we wanted to use them for a new roof or not. Absolutely not. The only good part was the initial consultation, everything else has been a disorganized mess with a severe lack of communication. Follow up review: Josh and the operations manager both came by today at the end of the project to apologize for and explain everything that went wrong during the process. We understand the supply issue and Home Depot being sketchy, it was just the lack of communication/miscommunication on their end with me that was really disappointing; this was remedied without us having to ask. I really appreciate that and a lot of respect for them for taking the time to do that. They definitely read their reviews and take them to heart, which is nice to see. The work they did was fantastic and we're super happy with our fence --- it looks great!

There’s definitely no shortage of options when it comes to roofing, decking and beyond. Josh and his team at Veterans Choice set the standard. Honest, dependable and go above and beyond for their people. They take great pride in their work and it shows. Taking on these kind of projects can be overwhelming and expensive. Absolutely blown away by the service from Veteran’s Choice Roofing! I submitted a request online for an estimate on a quick repair job, and within no time, Patrick and his team got back to me. From that first contact to the job being completely done took just a few days—super fast turnaround, which I really appreciated. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They kept me in the loop the entire time, so I never felt like I was left wondering what was going on. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable—definitely affordable for the quality of work they deliver. We contracted Veterans Choice to do a fence for us. From surveying the land and giving a free quote, they were professional, respectful and had clear and open communication. They had given us quotes for different types of fences and walked us through what would be good for our budget. Even when we needed to adjust our plans, they were very accommodating and understanding. On the day of building the fence, their crew was quick, communicative and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend and will look to use them if we need any other fencing, roofing, deck, or sliding needs!
