 + -1 moreno concrete estimate (with in reason) and an indifferent attitude on the phone.
Description of Work: Called for a quote on a simple piano tuning. Gentleman who called me back (sorry can't remember his name) was so-so about my business. He also quoted 250ish for a piano tuning, but stated it might be more if there was anything else, which is expected but I got the impression that he thought I didn't know what I needed and it may be the type of group that drops additional expenses on you. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, I DIDN'T HIRE THIS PROFESSIONAL AND THIS IS JUST A REVIEW OF AN ESTIMATE PHONE CALL. One thing I found troubling, my piano is very out of tune and hasn't been tuned in 5 years and one move - which is very bad on my part as an owner and, more importantly, indicates that it should be tuned in stages to prevent string breakage (as per experience with other tuning professional's advice and online research) - The Gentleman I spoke with indicated that this is nonsense and they would tune my decrepit piano in one tune and insinuated that there was no reason for concern. Caution.
