Garrett Group helped us when we needed some deck repairs as a result of a home inspection during sale. They were very helpful and quickly quoted on the work and coordinated a crew to come out to correct all the findings on the report. They are very good at deck work and completed all the repairs on time. I would absolutely hire them again. Thanks Garrett Group!

I contacted several companies that I perceived to be larger companies because of their advertising to fix a screened in porch. None of the larger companies were able to provide an estimate because this particular project could not be accomplished with any of the prefab plans. So, I have to admit, I was expecting more of the same when I contacted Garrett Group Construction (GGC). I was pleasantly surprised. They scheduled an appointment within a couple of days and not only provided an estimate, they provided a couple of different options. The estimate was very reasonable and I hired them immediately. The crew that came to do the work was very professional and did an outstanding job. The cherry on top was the clean up after the project was complete. I have had other contractors that promised clean-up after the job, but the clean-up usually required me to go behind them and pick up the mess they left behind. Not the case with GGC, they actually cleaned up everything to include vacuuming sawdust off the deck. I have other projects planned and Garrett Group Construction will be my first call and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I am a contractor myself, being so backed up and not being able to find anyone who wants to work I reached out to these guys, they came out same day and gave a price that blew me away, I decided to give them the job hoping they would live up to my standards and to my surprise they did. These guys showed up as promised and gave me an outstanding fence install, all great guys that worked great together to get the job done and might I mention very polite and professional. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone and believe me when I say I will never touch another fence again, Garrett and his crew will be installing every fence I sell from here on out Thank you all for a great job and look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

Our first time using the Garrett Group. Did a wonderful job of repairing our porch stairs. Also cleaned and stained our screen porch, replaced screens and fixed our skylight. Our porch looks brand new. Very professional. Would use for other jobs. Highly recommend.

This is the 4th time I have used Dave Garrett's company and couldn't have been more satisfied with all his work. I first had Dave take down a couple of large trees and a month later had him take a 3rd tree down. When they left, you wouldn't have known anyone was there. Every piece of wood, all the saw dust was cleaned up. Next I had Dave put in a new fence, built a concrete deck and walkway. Did some restructuring in my crawl space to reinforce the house. Reconstructed a shed and this time had him make a handicap ramp and deck. Each time the work was on time, on budget and completely perfect. The Garrett Group is my first option for any work I do on any of my houses. Good work, honest, on time, what more could you ask for. Thanks Dave.

They were professional and thorough and their finished product is fantastic and so reasonably priced. My husband and I hired this contractor to remove 15 year old wrought iron railings at the front and back of my home. The existing railings were set in concrete and had begun to rust. Where the railings were set into the concrete, the concrete had begun to crack and break off. Dave's crew removed the old railings and installed new vinyl railings and posts in a different location (other than the concrete) which look absolutely wonderful. They made repairs to the concrete where the old railings and been. The retaining wall can now be repainted and you would have a hard time identifying where those repairs were made! Dave's crew also installed temporary steps at my back door and repaired/replaced vinyl siding on the back of my home where we had previously had a wooden deck removed in anticipation of having a patio installed instead. Everyone was courteous and professional and did a quality job. Dave explained how the repairs would take place, and made suggestions on what he thought would be the best way to proceed with the repairs. Price was reasonable. Yes, I would definitely use this contractor again.

Dave was courteous and professional, he was able to show up and provide options for repairs to our deck the same day I contacted him. We received the estimates the very next day. Once we decided to go with the Garrett Group, Dave got us on the schedule as soon as possible. The day of the job, the crew showed up on time and the work was completed the same day. After the job was done, Dave made sure that we were pleased with the results. The crew cleaned up and removed the old material. We have received several compliments on the deck. We will definitely use the Garrett Group again and have already recommended them to family and friends.

I contacted the Garrett Group to replace our deck boards and boards on top of the railing that were over 20 years old and worn out. Dave came by for a quote and was very professional providing options including costs between pressure treated pine wood boards for our deck or Trex synthetic material boards. Dave and his crew did a great job not only replacing the boards but also tightening all of the existing screws/bolts on the frame and professionally rejoining the railing frame where the mitered corners had been pulling apart. Our replacement deck boards look great! We are so happy to be able to enjoy our backyard and gardens while sitting or dining on our like new deck! We were so happy with the deck, that we also hired The Garrett Group to replace some rotten wood just beneath our front door . The door is in the shade and with all of the damp weather this year it had two spots that were beginning to rot. The new PVC board under the front door looks great too! We highly recommend The Garrett Group and we will certainly use them again in the future!!

Dave and crew did an excellent job. Difficult task with a septic field involved and still no problem. Best part is Dave is reachable and has been very attentive in coming back to adjust gates after the wood has settled. Would recommend.

The Garret Group did a fabulous job on my concrete patio. Dave showed up for the estimate offered some advice when asked and performed as planned on schedule with a beautiful finished patio. His crew worked well together each helping and pulling their weight, knowledgeable and capable. I come from a family of construction workers and have never seen a crew work more efficiently. I would highly recommend The Garret Group. Dave said when finished it would be like a helicopter flew by and dropped the patio in place and it is. No aftermath of torn sod or any negative impact on the property.

Dave and his crew were awesome! Dave talked me through the entire process when we first met and again when I decided to hire his company to build me a staircase and a stamped concrete patio. As soon as the HOA approved my application, Dave put in the paperwork to get the permit. Once that was secured, Dave got me on his schedule. We had to battle the crazy weather in March and our patience paid off when it finally broke and gave Dave and his crew good days to finally get down to business. They even stayed until dusk the first day to make sure the concrete was poured and stamped so it got a good cure. The job was complete in less than a week and the patio and staircase turned out beautiful. I can't wait to use it! Dave is awesome and I am glad I went with him for this project. He made this project an absolute joy which isn't word one usually uses when it comes to home projects..LOL. Once again, I can't wait to use it. Now comes picking out some lovely furniture and a grill to enjoy my new patio. Great work Dave and your awesome crew!!!

When you hire a service oriented co., sometimes you take a chance on their quality, their honesty & reliability. I don't normally submit a review on my experiences with a contractor, however I'm making an exception with The Garrett Group. David Garrett DID NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS. HE & HIS CREW EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS AND DID A TRULY OUTSTANDING JOB IN BRINGING OUR FRONT YARD BACK TO OUR LIKING. He did everything as promised and more. If you're in need if an excellent landscaping contractor, look no further. We strongly recommend David and The Garrett Group. The quality of their work was excellent.

Dave was very friendly and professional. He was on time for our initial appointment (which is very important to me). His quote, and suggestion, to eliminate a very troubling drainage situation in our backyard, was very reasonable! Due to weather the start time for the project had to delayed. Without any type of prompting, Dave called and reset the start day coordinating with my schedule . The team of, very professional, workers arrived on time and did a great job. They cleaned up after the work was completed. Grass seed was spread and then covered with straw. After the last rain fall we did not have standing water or a muddy mess as before. I would (and will, when necessary) hire The Garrett Group again. Thank you Dave for a job well done!
