It started out very good. I met with the office manager at TGM and she priced out my countertops and gave me an estimate. I asked her to set up an appointment to have someone come out and ensure my measurements were correct and have them confirm that my current cabinets could handle the weight of the new countertops.
A member of TGM came out and measured and took my payment of $1500 and we made an arrangement for TGM to return to install.
TGM came out on February 21st to complete the install. They were at my house for apporximately 30 minutes and they determined my cabinet with my kitchen sink would not hold my new countertop. So they contacted their boss and said they would ensure that cabinet would hold the coiuntertop. Again, 30 minutes later, they came back and said they could not and that I would have to have it fixed before they could install.
I had to had someone come in and re-build the 1 cabinet to ensure it could handle the weight. On March 13th, the same 2 TGM employees returned to install the countertops. They installed my countertops and they look great. But TGM did considerable damage to my walls and when I pointed it out, they were not concerned and stating that these things happen. Also, the one hole they punched in, the filled with caulk which is not the correct thing to fill a drywall hole with.
I contacted the office manager on March 16th and was told I would get a call back from the manager of the business. I received no return call. when I called on March 19th, I supposedly spoke to a manager, but he was the rudest person I have ever spoken to.
Some unproffesional behavior
1- The TGM employees left their trash (empty caulk containers) in the trash and they smelled very strong. They should of taken their trash with them. 2 - One corner of my backsplash is about 1/4 inch higher than the side it meets. 3- They left a mess in my driveway from where they were cutting the countertop. They should of cleaned it up. 4 - They took off the bottom of my dishwasher to lower it and never put it back together. 5 - They left my old sink in my backyard. They should of disposed of it. 6 - When they installed my new sink, they put a clip right where the new faucet had to be connected underneath so it had to be moved so the plumber could connect the faucet to the pipes.
Very disappointed in the professional of this company. I woudl never use them again. Not only did they do damage to my walls that I had to repair, they behaved with no concern for the customer.

TGM Marble and Granite is really good. They were very pleasant, and cooperative. They made really good suggestions. Did whatever I asked them to do. They did everything. I am very happy with the job. If I have a complaint they address it. I will continue to use them.
