Things did not go well at all. 
The pavers were used to ensure drainage, but the pavers installed actually facilitate the movement of water from the house patio to the pool... they do not drain well at all.  Thus during a heavy rain, my pool fills with water from my pavement.  The pavers look good when there is no rain. 
Part of the yard still does not drain well.  Some parts of the yard remain soggy for days (sometimes weeks) after a hard or lengthy rain.  All the leyland cypress trees they planted died.  After a year of phoning, they finally returned, but did not work any grading issues, they just dropped off some new trees that I had to plant.   Of course, due to the drainage issues they died as well.
Envisioning the tiered gardens, all they did was stack natural rock about 9" high, and left the hard-pack clay in the garden topping it with a thin layer of topsoil and larger layer of mulch, thus I still need to fully dig out the garden if I want any plants to thrive.  It is very difficult to plant anything in this garden. 
Stafford Nursuries subcontracted all the work, so my attempt to support local businesses was in vain.  I have been able to talk to the young lead foreman that ran our project, but the owner of the nursery will not return my calls.
Of course, I wish I could start all over again, but it is too late.  I would strongly recommend finding another landscape company if you live in the Fredericksburg area.

Poor, would never use them again. EVERYTHING had to be replanted due to poor quality of install. If not redone all the plants would have died. I ordered specific colors and got nothing I ordered. The stone work all had to be redone. They are very expense and provide poor quality of service. When I requested the items be redone, they ignored me. I had paid in advance. never recommend and will never go back. I usually do not use the word "never" but in this case I mean it!

The work Stafford Nursery Inc. did in my yard was good. I guess communication was probably the worst part, between their people and us. It took them awhile to get started. They had a lot of other business going on at the time.

The challenge was that I have a 3 foot tall retaining wall that the shed would need to clear to get to it's final resting spot. The person who provided the estimate said, "it's no problem." They two guys delivering the shed did not agree. After 3.5 hours of manually wrestling the shed into place, they were sucessful. However, the shed is damaged in three places and after two phone calls, no one from Stafford Nursery has called me back to recitfy the problem. The quality of the shed seems good, but let me tell you, don't expect them to call you back, ever.... I've spent over 4 hours on the phone with them, first giving the specs of the shed (which were met nicely), but then trying to schedule delivery and now, trying to get delivery damage repaired. The were a very 'average' company to work with. The customer service wasn't a top priority, and it showed. I'd recommend you try somewhere else.he
