I never leave reviews but I’d to spare anyone’s hair from being ABSOLUTELY ruined like mine is. During quarantine my sandy blonde hair grew out, leaving me with dark roots. I decided to try out salon 730 to get them done. I took the first available stylist and paid for a consultation. At the consultation I was very clear, I wanted my roots done and brassiness toned out. My fine hair had grown out and become really healthy during quarantine and I wanted to keep it that way. The stylist assured me it was 100% doable and that it would be an easy service. I came back 3 weeks later for my appointment. During the bleaching, she combed the bleach throughout my entire head of hair, and when she washed it out- my ends were white and my roots were bright orange-blonde! Not to mention I had HORRIBLE breakage from having bleach on my already-bleached ends!! I was in tears. She then told me she had no time left in the day and I would have to come back 2 days later. At appointment #2 the stylist decided to tone my hair, which ended up with me having silver/grey hair ends and roots that were still orange-blonde. Both colors in my hair looked awful, unnatural, not close at all to the grown-out sandy blonde I had come in with originally. I was told to come back in 2 weeks and that the manager would then do my hair. I broke down and cried in the car. During those two weeks I had numerous people asked me if my hair was the result of a horrible box dye incident. At appointment #3 I received a clarifying mud mask to get all of the toner out, which my now-damaged hair frizzy and terribly dry. Then I was told to come back YET again. At appointment #4 I was given a “free” haircut to cut off my damaged white ends- ruining all of the new length grown in quarantine. The manager then gave me a shadow root and a glaze to attempt to even out the color. Finally my hair looked decent. But all of the demicolor washed out in two weeks, leaving me with the white ends and gold roots. It was literally a two week band aid fix, and then the white ends and carrot top were back again. The huge color difference and the damage my hair is beyond repair. Two months later, I’ve now had to cut off 6 inches in total, and my hair still feels like dead straw (despite using all olaplex products). I have to pull my hair up all the time and wear hats in public. I still have never received a refund from Salon 730- despite the policy they have on their website. My original stylist never apologized or gave an explanation as to why she could not do a basic hair process. I was later informed my original stylist was not as high of a level as the manager, even though she had been doing hair for 10+ years...And yet-it’s not like I asked for rainbow hair or even highlights. If she wasn’t capable of a BASIC root touch-up and tone, she should’ve told me at the consultation. That’s EXACTLY the point of me paying for a consultation. Hopefully with this review I can spare someone else from the pain I went through. Unless you want to pay $180 to have your hair ruined, go somewhere else other than Salon 730.

The color was awful. After 3.5 hours in the chair I was too tired to say anything and hoped it would look a little different after a couple of washes. Thanksgiving happened between then and when I finally made contact after three weeks to talk about how unhappy I was with it and what we might do to correct it. I sent the email to the address on stylist's business card twice and even called the salon to ask them to ask her to check email. She wrote me back and although she was willing to makes corrections, she emphasized that it would cost me because she has no idea what products I might have used on my hair since then. I wasn't thrilled with the insinuations. Anyway, I never responded and went back to my stylist in Denver since I had to make a trip back. Even she commented that it was orange. Anyway, I dislike confrontation and I don't like to potentially hurt someone's feelings, but I am left wondering if there is ever a time when a stylist will just simply and immediately own up to that fact that he/she failed.

I have been coming to Salon 730 for more than two years. During that time, I have had different stylists, but everyone has been very good. The salon is clean and bright and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and there is plenty of parking space.

I saw DeeDee following an earlier consultation, and she was wonderful. I am new to the area and had not been to this salon before. I was impressed with the time and interest taken by DeeDee during the consultation (which also included Billie, the owner). I scheduled an appointment, and I was very happy with what DeeDee did after listening to what I hoped to achieve. She did highlighting and then all-over color, followed by a cut that gave me volume and "movement." The color and the cut were great, and she clearly is a perfectionist! I scheduled my next appointment with her and look forward to seeing her in the future. I am very happy with DeeDee and everyone I have met in this salon. I highly recommend Salon 730.

I'm a stylist and have worked in the Arlington area for over 27yrs. Living in Fredericksburg and on my birthday I thought I'd treat myself to a hilite. Not wanting to drive over an hour and take up my friends time on their book. I chose this salon because they use Schwarzkopf color. For the past 25yrs, its the only brand I use. The woman who did my hair was very sweet with 20yrs experience (she says). But I should've known when she started the fiols in the front. I only know 1 person who can full foil in 30mn and be precise. She took an hour and a half for a partial. An experianced stylist takes 30mn to complete a partial with small sections weaving fine amounts of hair.That means she had the front blonde and ready while the back just got applied. See when you start in the back you can rince the foils with achieved color and allow front to finish processing. Finishing with same shade of color evenly front and back. I didn't get that. Mine was more of a cat all blonde in the front . Couldn't even tell anything was done in the back. Not noticing I looked like a cat till I got home I called them and asked what did I pay$180 for?? She said $120 for hilites $60 for toner which is comparable to other salons. I replied saying and quot; who Elizabeth Arden on Pencilvania Ave?and quot; They charge $200 for a patrial. I told her and quot;I've been working in Arlington at a high end salon and don't charge that much for just a partial no cut and quot; She said and quot;well you did get a tonerand quot; I said and quot;I've never charged extra for a toner . She said and quot; I've never heard of not charging for the toner?and quot; I said and quot;So in other words you punish your clients because your stylist can't achieve the color that's neededand quot; She got rude and sarcastically said and quot; We'd love to have you back to make you happyand quot; I came back and my 2nd stylist was obviously experienced. But matching the front was no easy task and when done I knew the effort was 100%. The lighting is so so in there and it looked better than a cat. But I was so blonde I felt like a banana was too heavy . After 2weeks I colored it to my natural and called it a day. This salon is over priced with out dated looks. My advice fill your tank head up north pay for parking get hair done correctly give a great tip and have an extra $25 in cash in your pocket. It'll be worth it.

I was greeted immediately and checked in by a friendly front desk staff. The facility is very beautiful with great bold colors and very clean. The atmosphere was organized, yet very friendly, relaxing, and just fun all around.
I was brought back to the chair by the stylist (Jessica, formerly of Tulips Salon and Spa), where we talked about the cut and what I was looking for. I met the Manager who was warm and friendly as well. In fact, the whole staff was wonderful all the way through check out.
Jessica did a fabulous job with my hair. I really liked the product line (Euphora) used on my hair as well. I look forward to going back and have, in fact, pre-booked my next appointment.
I highly recommend this salon. You totally get what you pay for and the price is very decent for what you get by way of overall service.

I arrived early and had barely checked in when Terri came out to take me back. She does a thorough consultation and takes the time to see what I want at every visit! She listens to my thoughts and even encourages me to bring a photo of the type of cut I would like. She is a master colorist and the highlights I had gotten last time had blended so well with my natural hair color, I didn't need to get them touched up. She always remembers me and details about what we talked about at my last visit and makes me feel incredibly comfortable. I always trust Terri to give me an amazing cut/style! I was going a little shorter with my cut and was a bit apprehensive. Terri assured me that it would look great and make me look younger - PERFECT! While she was doing my cut she made sure to tell me what she was doing and how it would make my hair move and look in the end. The end result - LOVE! The cut really did make me look younger and FUN! I LOVE Salon 730 and Terri is the BEST! I won't go anywhere else:)

I called Salon 730 at 10:00 in the morning and they were able to schedule me for 2:30 the same day with Cash. I immediately received a text confirmation of my appointment. With two days notice, people can also submit online requests for appointments.
Cash was ready for me on time and started by offering me something to drink. He spent just the right amount of time talking with me about what kind of style I wanted and really listened to what I had to say. His experience and feedback were extremely helpful. I appreciated the fact that he said he would cut my hair in stages, giving me the opportunity to decide if I wanted to go shorter rather than cutting my hair short right from the start. He was very attentive, even straightening out my collar when he was finished with my cut.
At the end, Cash made sure to tell me that if I got home and found something I wasn't happy with, he would take care of it. I'm thrilled with my haircut, so that won't be necessary, but it was nice that he offered. The receptionist scheduled my next appointment and the details are printed on the bottom of my receipt.
The salon is clean and welcoming. I got the sense that people enjoy working there and really work well together as a team. I observed another stylist greeting a customer whose regular stylist was not there that day. The stylist made sure to tell the customer that her regular stylist would be back on Wednesday and that it would be fine if she wanted to wait for her regular stylist's return. My impression of the interaction was that the stylists respect each other and do not get bent out of shape if for some reason a customer ends up seeing a different stylist.
I highly recommend this salon.

The elite stylist, Rachel, knows exactly how to cut natural curly hair. I know every stylist is not knowledgeable about
and competent with regards to cutting curly hair and making it look great; so it was very important to me as a newcomer
to this area to find the right salon. Angie's List helped me with this. The employees of the salon are very professional,
courteous and friendly. This is a full service salon and employ 20 stylists who are unable to work all at the same time
