 + -1 moreI bought a cherry curio cabinet from a catalog in the store. The price was great and the service was great. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. When I went to the warehouse to pick-up the cabinet, the men helped me view and check the cabinet in case it was damaged in shipment. They also loaded it onto my truck. They also were so nice. I would recommend this store for any type of furniture.

Description of Work: We were looking to furnish a new house we are building. After visiting several furniture stores in the Fredericksburg area, we went to Powell's where we ended up buying all of our furniture from them. David, the Assistant General Manager, provided prompt, professional service. He was very knowledgeable and helpful by finding the exact furniture we were looking for while keeping in mind our financial requirements. The selection of furniture was quite expansive, ranging from terrific deals for the budget conscious buyer to high quality upper end furniture. We highly recommend shopping at Powell's for all of your furniture needs.

 + 0 moreThe main reason I would recommend them is because we purchased a couch that had to be custom built which allowed a 6 month grace period. With the wait the manager supplied us with a substitute couch until ours came in.
