Payless Fencing Co.

Kevin Howard hired Steve Waterholter from Payless Fence Company to repair their shed. The PRO quoted $5,000.00 for the job and was paid a deposit of $2500.00 to begin. On January 4th Kevin canceled the project but the PRO refused to refund the full amount. The PRO sent a check for $2125.00 and kept $375.00. Kevin said that he canceled before the three business days and wants a full refund.

Steve at Payless Fence was great. His quote was $3K less than competitors AND I have a well built beautiful fence!!!!! Payless also built me a beautiful gate on my deck. Grateful for Steve and his crew. He is working at my sisterâ s house today on installing a screened door to her porch. Highly recommend.

The final work of sealing my cemented patio was great, but the original appointment was not respected. I texted 15 mn before the appointed time to check if they were coming. The answer was that they had an emergency somewhere else. They didn't bother to let me know first. I felt less important as a customer. Somebody came the next day in the morning around 9AM, but not at the time expected which was at 1PM. By chance we were there. There is definitely a problem of organization of the work in this company. There was also another problem, but it has been solved in the next applications of the sealer. So they also need to be under verification by the customer.

The man Steve first quoted 11k sight unseen. I declined He then showed up with quote 6300. I told him great, but we need it built right away or I have no use for the fence. He said 2-3 weeks. Ok. I transferred 2940 in deposit money as he said he was coming by the bext morning to secure the deal. He never showed. The contract I signed states clearly buyer can cancel within 72 hours or I never would have signed. Bottom line. When I cancelled in less than 2 biz days he called me a ?sycho? and would not return the money. He was heavily intoxicated. I felt like giving him a day to be an honest businessman but no. He is keeping the deposit (he thinks!) So Im suing him and reporting him the the DA and better business bureau. The man is a drunk, on drugs, and a thief. I have our conversations recorded (arlo security rocks!) I just think this man needs help stole my money and has nothing to lose. He should just honor the contract. Buter cancelled on time twice! Yet the thief keeps my money??

They were very pricy, but the work was very good and to my satisfaction.

The price was 40% less than all other estimates. Steve is trustworthy and worked with me on HOA approval. The fence is solid and the work was done quickly. I would hire again.

Steve was great, laid back not pushy and the best price. MC fencing was charger triple what Payless fence charged. I am using them again for more fencing, and would definitely recommend.

Steve and his crew helped us install a 79ft fence with a door in our backyard in 2 days at an affordable price. Recommend to give this team a try.

We hired payless fence to install a black vinyl coated chain link fence around our pool and chicken coop. When they came to install, the fence and gates were very obviously damaged and scratched up and you could tell they were not vinyl coated, but just regular chain link spray painted black. The crew installed the fences very uneven and not to code. We refused to pay the second half until they fixed the job. The contractor took us to court where we found out that he has many open court cases against him, 18 to be exact. When we went to court he lied about absolutely everything. The crew was very unprofessional, and so was the owner. He tried to add money onto the job that wasn't in the contract because he underbid it. He tried asking for more money before the job was done. When we refused to give him more money he proceeded to say "that's fine, I took the fence from another job anyway." He made comments about how the people that work for him do too much drugs and that's why it's not looking great and why they're making mistakes. The owners son was even smoking pot in his car in our driveway. The whole experience was awful and they are not a company we would recommend for any fence needs. We don't take it lightly leaving a bad review as it is their lively hood and we hate to mess with that, but cannot allow anyone else to be scammed out of their money and be left with poor workmanship. Do NOT hire this company!

I was looking to have a fence installed in my backyard for my dog. I called Payless Fencing and Steve and his crew did a fantastic job in getting this done for me. He came over gave me a free estimate and once I agreed on the contract the job was done in two days. I had a problem and he was able to fix that problem quickly. Highly recommended. Also, the price was reasonable.

They came out twice. First time fence was up in two days- second time (a small addition that I asked for) was up in one. I would recommend Steve and his crew.

Steve and his crew are fantastic. There was a hold up, due to weather, but once he started it was done in two days. Heâ s even coming back to do a bit of a redesign. (We changed our minds about a portion of the fence.) I highly recommend Payless fencing and will do so to anyone I come across in need of a fence!

They got the work done ahead of schedule and took the time/effort to complete some rework to make sure we were completely satisfied with the fence. Would definitely recommend them for fence install/repairs.

We had chain link, and wooden gates installed to complete our fence. Steve and his workers did a great job despite some bad weather. Very happy to have a fully functional complete fence.
