+ -1 moreBought a Bad Boy Maverick zero turn about 7 years ago. One of the selling points that was made to me was that if I had my mower serviced by Morton’s, they would pick up and drop off the mower free of charge. This they honored until last Fall. When I called for service, I was told that Bad Boy was no longer among the brands that qualify for pick up and delivery service. (they still list other brands in their advertisement where they do honor that service). I told them on the phone that I bought the equipment from them and that I was told at point of sale that this was one of the benefits to purchasing through them. Now they are asking for an additional $161 on top of the cost of the annual maintenance. Bad business to change a policy and not grandfather, faithful customers into the original agreement that was honored for years.
Description of Work: Needed annual maintenance on my zero turn.

Description of Work: They fixed my Toro lawn mower - a belt had slipped off of a pulley so it would not move.

Description of Work: Had a power edger that had been sitting for a year. Was unable to start it. Took it to them and they estimated 10 days to get it back. Received a call the next day and it was ready. The carburetor was fouled and they cleaned it. Starts on first pull now. Have used them for years and they are top notch.

+ -1 moreThe tires were the most expensive part of the annual tune up. The six inch or so tires were 25 each. Tune up normally runs around 85 or 90. I will admit it was a bad day for them. They were in the process of switching over to their new software, and they had someone they were training at the front desk who was completely lost and was slowing down the others with questions. I would have rated them better, but the tires did seem pricey, and the service was not up to their usual par. Note that this is a Stihl and Toro dealer. My last Toro lasted 15 years. I will begin my 8th season with my current lawn mower.
Description of Work: Replaced oil, filter, sharpened blade, fixed tension on the handle bar, replaced rear tires on an 8 year old Toro lawn mower.

Description of Work: Called to see if they could work on my Husquarna chainsaw and while they advised me that they couldnt get parts they took the time to refer me to a company that could and got their tel number for me. And I could hear in the background that they were very busy with customers but the person who answered the phone (yes, they do answer their phones) still took the time to help me and was very pleasant.

+ -1 moreMorton's customer service is always excellent. I bought several chainsaws from them in the past. They're just a place to go if you got a steel. If you got any steeling equipments you go to them.
