I felt it was fair to provide an update to my previous post.  The technician who had been doing such a lousy job has lost his job with Home Paramount; apparently I wasn't the only one to complain.  The person who treated my home on Saturday did a great job and is one of the managers.  I am always willing to give someone another chance, and since I've been a customer since 1996, I will stay with them as long as I am pest-free at my new house.

I have been a customer of Home Paramount since 1996, so naturally when I moved in November, I wanted them to treat my new house for spiders and ants and keep my quarterly service.  Of course they charged me an initial $107 for the inspection and reluctantly agreed to let me retain the "cheap" $75.00 quarterly charge, which to me was kind of strange given the fact they HAD been treating a 4-story 2,400 SF home with a basement plus the perimeter, and now they are only treating a one-level 1,600 SF home with no basement (and they don't treat the attic and crawl space, either).  I had to have the guy come out a second time and he kind of hassled me about it, saying I need to give it a couple of weeks to work (never had the issue at the old house). He also grumbled about the manager reducing the amount of chemical they could use to treat insects.  This tech also only sprays dots of solution in the window and door corners (e.g., "entry points"); past technicians have sprayed each and every room from corner to corner and I seldom had an issue.  I continue to kill ants and spiders inside the house, but at this point, I think it would be best for HP and I to part ways after 18 years since they have resorted to cheating customers in this tough economy.  If I hadn't had such good success with them in the past, none of this would upset me. Now I will have to pay someone else to do my quarterly service, because I refuse to call them out a third time, especially after the last episode.  I wished the old Home Paramount was still around :(

They were suppose to treat for all bugs, but after I went with the comprehensive package, I was told ants stinkbugs and mosquitos were extra. I felt like I was paying for treatment but wasn't getting any real service for the things I needed. They were very nice but nice didn't get rid of my bug issue.

 They are scheduled to come every three months and call before they come to make sure the time is convenient with me. They are very professional and we have had ZERO trouble with pests inside or outside of our house !  If during the time between their scheduled visits we see bugs, etc or have an issue, they will come back out to respray or fix the problem at NO extra charge. EXCELLENT service every time and we have been customers for an entire year.  :)  Highly recommend ! 

They were very good. They came out twice for treatment and were able to get rid of the fleas.

Alan came to my home the same day I called, assessed the situation and knew exactly what needed to be done!  
He was concerned for the parasites and infectious diseases birds can bring and leave behind.
He scheduled  a service call for the next day (Saturday) then re-scheduled after 2 workers requested the day off (4th of July weekend).  However technicians promptly arrived on Monday per scheduled appointment time, performed all work as needed and were on their way.  
You guys ROCK - thanks for the FAST response, professionalism and clean-up -- and for taking my situation seriously.
Another Angie's list business never even returned my plea help, after I spoke personally with one of their employees.

I would highly recommend Home Paramount to anyone!

During a free termite inspection they told me I had wood eating fungus
which I did.  I also needed new insulation under the house..  I agreed
to pay $1100.00 for both to be done. Two years later they told me I had
wood eating fungus and it needed to be sprayed again when they came for a
free inspection.  When I crawled under to check I noticed they had not
covered over 40 feet of the area with the promised insulation from the
previous job they were supposed to have done. I also found out that the
inspectors are supposed to find problems so they can sell services; if
they do not sell over a thousand dollars of certain repair services they
only get paid a few dollars for each inspection they do so they try to
find problems.  I had been taken for the insulation and maybe for more
than that. To add insult to injury, I had been paying them a $150.00 for
termite protection insurance for years.  They will never inspect my
place again.

Everything was completed in a timely manner and all questions and concerns were addressed.

I called them one day and they arrived the next day for service. The technician was honest with me about not using the correct type of solution and called and asked if he could come back and do it again. He came back and did the job correctly and they also provided me with a ten year warranty.

We had no problems with their performance.  They came here and do their job with expertise.  They explain the procedure well and educate us as well on how to prevent ants from coming back.  I am very satisfied and pleased with their service.

They are very good. We have had them for a long time. They also do our annual termite inspection. They also come very 3 months.

We guess they were reasonable in terms of price. We will continue to use them in the future.

They are on their way out here now. They come quarterly. I would tell a friend or family member about them. They are knowledgeable, friendly, on time and they will come back if needed, whether it is your quarterly treatment or not, if you see something they are there.

We recently purchased a new home and wanted to initiate a termite prevention program for the house and barn. The appointment was easy to make and the technician arrived as scheduled. Our new home had been inspected for termites in advance of closing, but the technician thoroughly checked the interior and exterior of the home to insure, to his satisfaction, that there were no termites. After carefully checking the property, the technician developed a proposed monitoring and prevention plan with associated costs and emailed it to us later the same day. We reviewed the proposal and gave the OK. The bait stations were installed the next day at the agreed upon locations around the house and barn. The baits will be checked quarterly for evidence of termites. The price for this service varies by property - ours is large and includes a barn. We feel the cost of this program is well worth it, when compared to the potential cost of repairing termite damage.

We purchased a new home and wanted to have an initial inspection and treatment for any pests such as bugs, spiders, and mice since, typically, pre-purchase inspections are only for termites. We wanted a more comprehensive inspection and any initial treatment performed before we moved in. The appointment was easy to schedule and the technician arrived within the designated window. He even called to let us know when he was on his way. He checked our new home thoroughly and treated inside and outside as needed. He was able to see and treat all areas while the house was empty. The technician was knowledgeable and experienced. We were pleased with the initial service and have contracted with Home Paramount for ongoing monthly inspection and service.

I am very pleased with the service they provided. I would definitely use them again.

This company’s prices are three times lower than some of their competitors’ prices. I like that they asked about my children and pets thoroughly before the date of service. They made sure they used formulas that weren’t going to be harmful to the children and pets in the home. The technicians were friendly. They also explained everything they were doing.

I was very happy with their work and they seemed to have resolved the problem. It took more than one trip out here to resolve it but it seems to have been resolved; so I would have to say it was successful. I took a contract with them and they come out on a regular basis. I think they come out twice a year. I thought I had a little problem about a month ago, but I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. They sent a guy right away and took samples and tested it and let me know it was nothing. In other words, I thought I had a problem and called them, and they came right away. They were very responsive.

They provided a great service when they were here.  They also were to do a follow up treatment/inspection.  I had not heard from them, and called about a month after this was to be done to schedule.  I have not heard back from them.
