The project was an extreme success from start to finish. Everyone at Hivex from the sales department, the Project Manager, Project coordinator, and all the tradesmen that are actual employees (not outside sub contractors) have been an absolute joy to work with. This is a family owned business that has really figured out a system that is tried and true. My wife and I were blown away at how professional the company was. They provided a very thorough packet with nice graphical charts that showed every step of the way. We were in touch with our PM weekly, sometimes daily during the busiest part of the project. Each tradesmen seemed to work so quickly and the work was such high quality. I walked the 1,900 sq/ft. basement project every night and documented with photos the whole way through. The schedule of activities was perfectly orchestrated and each trade knew exactly what to do. We looked at 3 other companied prior to hiring Hivex. Hivex was the best decision we ever made. We had some high expaectations with our home theater requirements, lighting zones, and magnificiently designed bar area. Hivex nailed it, Hivex killed it, best contractor ever. After my work friends saw their work they were eager to contact Hivex for their basements. I know there is a sense of pride when it comes to building the perfect man-cave. Ours is absolutely incredible thanks to Hivex and my wife has found a nice section of the basement to make hers as well! As you read through lots of reviews, you will be missing out if you do not act on this one. Oh yeah, price was pretty great too! Thanks Hivex.... If we ever move out of this incredible place, you will be my first call for the next house too!

They sent out a generic weekly email on “This is what is happening in your basement this week” that was really helpful. The only thing we might have liked is more specifics on which specific days the workers were coming that week, because we telework a lot and it would have helped for planning. But we loved HIVEX and we love our basement!

These guys are like the A team. They come in, make a professional assessment of the situation, then next thing you know the framers, installers etc come in, knock out there jobs and before you know it the job is complete and it looks great. We were very please with the work and the workers who were all courteous. We were especially impressed with the owner Dan Betts. He was the first person we met. He came to our home and give use what I call a personal guarantee. It really was a great experience from the beginning to the end. We highly recommend HIVEX!

We recently hired HIVEX to finish our basement. We were impressed from the first phone call, to our Sales Rep. Michael who went through the HIVEX process. We could see how organized HIVEX is from our conversation, to financial options, professional brochures, and well laid out schedules. Michael was very respectful and we never felt pressured to make a decision. We quickly called back and had a start date on the calendar. Our Project Manager, Bob was very professional and knowledgeable. The plan was very well laid out and they always communicated what the next steps would be. Bob was always quick to answer any questions we had and to give suggestions when we were uncertain. The teams “can do” attitude left us with no worries on the superb job that they accomplished. They proved that they stand behind their commitment. We LOVE our basement and highly recommend HIVEX to finish your basement too!

The build quality is top rate. Many touches were added that were not anticipated but highly appreciated and all concerns were addressed in an informative, accommodating and timely manner. Crew was excellent - great skills, friendly and helpful. This is a honest & ethical company. Working with them has been fun and the result outstanding!

We only regret we didn't call HIVEX first and sooner. The owner, Mr. Dan Betts met with us in November, 2019. We showed him the space and told him what we had envisioned. He gave us a detailed, organized overview of what to expect and an equally informative estimate. Our start date was in early January. It took about 3 months. The workers were prompt, courteous and professional. The weekly emails kept us abreast of what was happening and anytime we had a question or needed help, Bob Salo, our Project Manager was always available. The office staff was also courteous and helpful. They all did a great job. They're mantra is that they want you, the customer, to be happy. They succeeded. Thank you HIVEX!!

Our basement looks awesome. We are currently enjoying our space with our friends and family. Bob, Billy, and the rest of the team were great! They were all easy to work and definitely exceeded our expectations. If we ever have any other remodeling needs we would definitely choose Hivex again. From the very first meeting, our project team at Hivex was phenomenal. We were kept well-informed on the progress in our basement. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly addressed, even on weekends. No subcontractors. They were not satisfied until we were 100% satisfied. The finished product was better than we could have imagined! We highly recommend Hivex, and would definitely hire them again if they remodeled other areas of the home. Our only suggestion would be that they included flooring installation and painting as part of the total package.
