I'm not sure if this company if under new management or what because we have been customers of this company for 16 years and never had a problem with this company until now. We scheduled an appointment and waited a month for service. On the day of the appointment which was set for 1-3pm, no one showed. I called at 3pm and was told by the appointment scheduler that she tried to call earlier to let me know that she didn't have a technician to send to my house today, but no one answered. I told her I had not received a call from her, so she read my number to me as the number she called. I checked my phone and didn't see a missed call or voicemail from her. I also found her claim hard to believe because I had my phone with me all day waiting for a call that the technician was on the way. She apologized, I accepted it, and allowed her to give me another appointment for the next Thursday same time. Fast forward to the next Thursday, and again, no one showed. This time the scheduler called at 2:45pm to tell me that the technician had fallen sick at the appointment just before mine. Unbelievable! Again she apologized, but I was livid. It's obvious the customers time mean nothing to this company. Two days of waiting all day and not as much as an apology from the owner of this company. I planned to file a complaint with the owner, but after no apology from anyone in management, why bother. I'll take my business to a company that respects my time and loyalty as customer for many years.

They were quick and efficient, and the price was extremely reasonable--$106. The plumbers charged more than that to relight to water heater. First Choice was also very prompt in getting out to do the work, minimizing the time we had to go without hot water.

They are very punctual and very professional. I always feel that they don't oversell me. They always do what is necessary. I think they're very fair. I don't have any issue. Their responsiveness is very good.

Showed up on time, thoroughly checked both systems, suggested minor changes (use another return air filter), spent about 2.5 hours in the complete check..
I found their price to be a little high when getting a bid on a replacement system for another property and they seemed to be unwilling to negotiate (about 15+% higher than another quality company) - be sure and check pricing.

We have an annual contract with First Choice Heating and Air, but we decided to get the annual contract after we had some problems with our heating system and they did such a good job we decided to use them more regularly.

First Choice installed the HVAC system into a home I had built in 2007. It was a York system. The compressor on the outside unit failed in 2013. Unfortunately the compressor warranty was only a 5 year warranty. Since the unit was an R-22 system, it was more cost effective to go to an R-410A system, so I purchased a completely new system.
Here's where my pain comes in. They installed the wrong system upon installation. Every house that is the same floor plan built within 6 months of mine has a 4 ton outside unit and a 4 ton inside unit. They installed a 5 ton outside unit and a 4 ton inside unit. I got quotes from several HVAC dealers and they all rated my house for a 4 ton unit. They all also noticed, independently I might add, that the systems were mismatched, which probably led to premature compressor failure.
I didn't want to call First Choice to install a new system for a couple of reasons. 1. I do not like York and 2. They had their chance when the house was built and failed. Why would I give them another chance to install something that is going to fail in 5-10 years and I'm out again? They had their chance. (Caveat, they said they can install Trane, but they are NOT certified Trane retailers and Trane themselves said their warranty only covers equipment installed by a certified Trane specialist. I'm not taking some guy's word that he'll make it right over a company's printed warranty)
My builder nor First Choice wanted to take responsibility. I could have pursued it further with legal action, but I really don't have the time nor inclination. I purchased a top of the line Trane system that is saving me all kinds of money on utility bills, so I guess I will come out ahead eventually.
However, I post this to say that if you decide to hire First Choice, please make sure the systems are installed correctly and the equipment they install is covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

Mike Flemming was very helpful in assisting us in selecting the system that best fit our needs.  During our decision making process between 3 vendors, we decided to add a humidifier and dust "zapper" unit to the system.  Mike was able to work with us in adjusting the estimate, ensuring that the unit would fit our very tight space.  We had contacted a total of 3 companies and the York system rated very high and First Choice was the best price for our specifications.  The two techs were on time, very informative and made all necessary adjustment to the system as needed.  We would not hesitate in recommending them to our friends.

We've used First Choice as our heating and air conditioning maintenance company for 10 years.  When they found the compressor 
on the heat pump to be non operable they provided several options to fix the situation.  We chose to replace the both the outside and upstairs unit.   The team showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and finished when promised.  The overall estimate, negotiation and repair experience was easy.  First Choice is a family owned business that is truly professional.  

Tony was the technician, and as described, spent four hours checking all system components, even batteries in the thermostats. He found no problems and stated, "the system is in good shape...you must be changing the filters regularly. Everything is working properly."
As impressive as the service, their office staff was even better. Vickie was a real pro and explained in detail about First Choice and what they offer. They also called ahead to remind me of the appointment for the inspection and gave me the name of their service tech. He showed up within 5 minutes of the appointed time.
I was extremely impressed with the overall experience (and I was referred to them by another satisfied customer who has used them for about 10 years).
I would recommend for their customer service, professionalism, and knowledge. A good value, for sure.
