It was wonderful! Definitely the best service call we've ever had, in any work sector. Paul and crew arrived right on time (maybe even one minute early!), and got right to work. They were very friendly, honest, reliable, respectful, and competent. They removed the old log set, installed the new log set, and Paul taught us how to use it, all in about an hour. Paul shared with us candidly how often we should have the fireplace serviced, which we really appreciated. We will definitely do business with them again. We highly recommend this company! You won't be disappointed.

The estimate and work were done punctually. They said they would arrive before 7:30 and they did. It was wonderful to get the work out of the way so early in the day. The workmen were competent and very pleasant to deal with. They worked efficiently and cleanly and the work was up to my expectations. The doors presented a difficulty as the fireplace opening was not constructed in the expected way, but they dealt with this efficiently.
I was very pleased with Mr.Harris' and his employees professionalism.

The whole operation from setting up the initial appointment for site review to delivery and work completion went like clockwork. The actual installation team was four people who all had their pieces of the install project. Each knew exactly what to do and made the half day install go smoothly and quickly. I watched each step of the way and was impressed by the expertise. They answered all questions to satisfaction and accomplished the work in a manner that clearly impressed the county inspector.

We had noticed an odor coming from the fireplace insert in our basement family room and called Fireplace and Gas Service on the recommendation of a friend. They provided excellent service. Robert Groves arrived right on the scheduled time, performed excellent service, and gave us advice on operation and servicing.

Mr. Harris responded promptly to our request for an estimate and honored our request for an early appointment for installation as well. It was clear from this initial appointment that he was extremely knowledgeable about such installations and provided thorough explanations to our questions without trying to sell us and quot;extras.and quot; We also appreciated his accessibility and immediate responses to the follow-up questions we had between the time of the estimate and the actual installation. Mr. Harris and 3 technicians made quick and efficient work of installing the gas line, logs and glass doors. They were attentive to ensuring floors and furniture were protected from the dust generated by the work and did a superb job of cleaning up any debris. Mr. Harris had the county permit for the installation pulled and facilitated the final inspection of the job which was a time saver for us. We'd highly recommend Fireplace and Gas Service Inc.

These guys are terrific. Very professional, prompt, knowledgable, safe, and don't make a mess. Came to my house, did a REAL survey, wrote the estimate, explained all the work in detail. When they returned to do the install, they had all the parts, completed the job on time, did exactly what they said they would do. No surprises. I would recommend them to anyone. Do not hesitate.
