We've done business with Ed at ETA for a couple of years now and have always been satisfied with his quality of work and fairness. The most recent repair was to our 2002 Chrysler Sebring which we recently traded in for another car. Before we traded it in we were quoted a price of $1100 from Firestone at Quantico for a repair that it turns out we didn't even need. Ed was able to repair the problem thoroughly for less than $200 and even repaired the burned out motor on the passenger side window free of charge. I highly recommend ETA for the quality work, timeliness, and fairness of price.

I wouldn't recommend ETA Repair to anyone that is searching for a repretable auto repair company.
It took 5 months to get my vehicle back! When I asked the owener (Ed) if he could fixx it from ideling high and supossedly overheating and a possible water leak he said sure he would give me a call in a week or so. No call. Wondering what happened I called back a few weeks later to see what was going on and he tells me he did check it out and he is waiting on a part that he may be able to get cheaper from his friend's junk yard since it was just broken rather than buying the whole item. I said "ok" but keep me informed.
Well about two months later I was told it was ready and it didn't need that part after all..not understanding why no one had called and he didn't volunteer an explanition either.
When I came for the vehicle it was running the exact same way from the begining...running high and temperature guage close to over heating and he charged me $90. I ask what did he do since it haddend change? He said he cleaned the vacuum lines and did a diagnosic. I told he that it's idling high and the temp nedle isn't supposed to be that high. He claimed that is normal when the vehicle is cold. We let it warm for a half hour and still no change.
he insisted that his mom's vehicle does the same thing and it's exactly like mine.
After going back and forth over the same thing. I asked him if he could he get this vehicle running the way it's supposed to...never admitting to his faults, he told me step by step what he would do.
Well another couple of months passed and again no call. Frustrated but polite, I called and was told yes it's ready. Over $700. later I wanted to just get my vehicle and never step foot on his shop again.
Why did it take 5 months and going back and forth of the idle, and still have bad oxygen sensor showing up on the scanner after he claimed he installed a new one?

He always gives me an estimate before he fixes the car. Exactly the price he quotes me is what he charges me when he's finished.
