EL33T Computing Inc

I used el33t three times and each time they took the option to take my money instead of telling me what I needed to do myself. The first time, I had a new laptop and knew nothing about how they worked. I need to swap out my DVD drive (a task made deliberately easy by laptop manufacturers) but didn't know how. El33t did it for me and charged $50 instead of just saying "push the button and swap the drives". The 2nd time I saw them, my laptop wouldn't charge. After testing the laptop, they said my power supply had burnt out, so they ordered me a new one and it was pricey. But the fix worked, so I was happy. About a year later, the same problem happened. This time, when they did the diagnostic, they said everything was fine and gave the laptop back. My laptop disagreed and would not charge (plus my windows password and login had been removed and I never told them the password, so they found a way around my security instead of just asking me to give them the login...shady). On a lark, I ordered a cheap replacement power supply on the internet since that worked last time. That fixed the problem and I won't be using el33t in the future. To be fair, they do know a lot about computers, I just don't like how they run their business.
