The job that Bob did went very well. He brought samples to the house for me to take a look at and described the process that they were going to take to remove the old shingles from the roof and replace them. He found a few areas where there had been water intrusion and replaced those plywood boards and did a fantastic job with the roofing. They showed up on time ready to work. Brought their trailer for the old shingles, put plastic on the bushes so that there would not be a bunch of nails and shingles scattered and went to work. The new shingles came right on time and the team went right to work. Going on 5 years since he completed the job and I have not had a single leak. I have recommended Bob to my friends and he has done a great job for them as well.

We had a load-bearing wall which had been severely damaged by a leaky roof. We had cut away the sheet rock to expose five rotten beams. Unlike other contractors who gave us estimates, Bob immediately understood the scope of the problem and knew how to fix it. He brought a team with him who built a temporary wall to support the second floor while they replaced the rotten wood. He and his team worked hard and efficiently to complete all of the job except the sheet rock in one Saturday. He then returned a few days later to hang sheet rock, tape and apply the first coat of mud. Bob was early for all of our appointments, waiting patiently when he arrived before we did. We needed a professional to ensure that the house remained supported while the repair work was done, and Bob was that professional. His sheet rock work was also excellent. He was friendly and pleasant, even giving me tips on how to do my own repairs when I asked him. I appreciated that he is a native English-speaker as it improved communication.

I contacted references prior to interview/site inspection - all reference were very happy with contractor, but none of them had any insurance work done. Interview was favorable except the contractor did verify that he does not do much if any insurance work. The contractor agreed to provide an estimate for the work by the end of the week. By close of business Friday I had not heard anything from the contractor. I awarded the work to another company.
