Cortez Fence

Angi recommended Cortez Fence on 9/6/25. We requested a quote from Mr. Amaya. He came and inspected the work required, and a few days later sent an invoice for $2,225. He came on 9/21/25 and requested full payment before the work was started. We agreed to pay half. He said the work would start on Oct 4 and be completed on Oct 5. He never came. We tried calling on Oct 4,5, and 6. We sent an email on Oct 6 and left a post on his website. He has never contacted us again. We noted a few odd things about his website. There is no address or location of the firm. His pretty five-star Google review does not link to Google reviews. It appears to have been just pasted into the web page. From all we can tell, this firm does not really exist. He did not deposit our check into his account. It was cashed at our bank.

I can not recommend this contractor. Contracted to do repair on tub (had chips). Paid a deposit and was unable to get response from Contactor after that. No answer on phone or text. Contact was made only after the Angi Compliant department offered to reach out to Contractor which I took them up on. Contactor was consistent in missing dates committed to following up on work. I believe he tells you what he believes what you would want to hear. Did a very poor job of taping around the tub so I have a mess around the tub. Committed to coming back to fix and has not returned any calls. He is charming and smiles but I found him to lack integrity and a sense of professionalism of his work. Unless you are ready to learn to do repair of his work or hire another contractor to fix his work I recommend you avoid. Do not give final payment on his word he will come out in a couple days and do clean up. Left messages week ago giving him chances to fix before I posted. No response.

Very informative and professional. Was flexible with scheduling and presented me with multiple solutions and options before selecting to proceed with the project. Would definitely rehire and recommend for future projects.

I just want to give a big shout out to Cortez Fence thank you so much! for making my backyard feel like home. Francisco came and looked at the repairs I needed done gave me an estimate gave me a very good price too we closed the deal and next thing you know he was here on time just like how he said and he got the job done and he even spread the dirt for me instead of leaving it in piles and was very careful with my sprinklers he kept it very professional from beginning to end you have no idea how my family and I feel now that we can go outside of are back yard and let the kids, and dogs so they can run around

Francisco was awesome?super professional, on time, and really knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and kept me updated the whole time. I felt really taken care of and everything went smoothly. Totally happy with the experience and would definitely recommend him to anyone!

They did a amazing job. My fence completes my home . It look amazing. They where fast and so professional. Perfect trims and straight walls all around. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you guys again.
