Bartlett Tree Experts - 41315

I have worked with Bartlett's several time to take out dead and downed trees and for general tree and shrub management for pests. Since this was a big job, to clear out 3/4 acre of residential forest with thick understory on the edge of a pond without having to step over downed logs and through lots of understory. The aim was to be able to enjoy the forest up to the water's edge as a quiet peaceful family spot. Bartlett's gave me a day rate and the crew of 5 did as I directed. This gave me the freedom to shape the job as I wanted to achieve the property look that I desired. It was also cheaper than a tree by tree basis. I worked directly with the crew boss to direct the priorities. They did everything from climbing up to take out large broken branches (after recent huge storms) to pruning our cherry and pear trees. They definitely did a 5 star job. The crew didn't stop moving except for the first 15 min when I gave them my priorities and for lunch. Each person was self directed as well, meaning they didn't stand around when done with one task to be told the next thing to do. They knew the big picture and just identified the next task and kept going. The Bartlett local manager, Jason, was excellent to work with as well.

We have found them very professional and totally satisfied with them. They call before they arrived for the appointment. They have moved furniture when needed to spray a tree and emptied bird baths so the water doesn’t get contaminated.

I highly recommend and have enjoyed working with Bartlett Tree Experts for ten years and I appreciate that they provide arborist services, take care of my trees and all shrubs around my property, provide pest management services to keep my trees healthy as well as fertilization and soil care. They are the best in the field and its been proved to me -- so very responsive when I have a question or need to have treees removed immediately-- like after the derecho took out five trees in literally one minute last year.

I have used Bartlett several times over the past four years for tree removal and extensive pruning of landscaping material throughout my property.  Jason (an ISA Certified Arborist with a B.S. in Horticulture) was prompt with our appointment, provided recommendations, and presented me with a free estimate.  When the work was to be performed, the crew was prompt, very courteous, extremely efficient, and the final job was exceptional.  I believe Bartlett is competitive with their pricing, and you definately get the highest level of professionalism and knowledge in this field, hands down.  I will continue to use their services in the future.

They have been good to us. They are on time, always call ahead so we can round up our animals, and do what they say they are going to do.

They are prompt and know their business, but they are fairly expensive.

The work turned out very nicely. They are very courteous, very nice, and the trees are very healthy.

Beautifully on the tree removal took away all debrie and trunk cut down to the ground very clean job. Don't know about additional services we weren't home but could see where the roots had been removed and small holes in the ground.

We have used them for 4 years now, every since japanese beetles and dogwood anthrax decimated our flowering trees and shrub.  They meet with me every spring to plan out what I want done and payments are made per service so it's not a huge sum at once.  We have them take how 3 hug trees near the house and there wasn't even a leave or branch left in the area, their cleanup is amazing.  We had them take down 10 small trees this year.  We were present and saw they had a chipper, and asked if we could keep the mulch.  the pilled it right where we wanted it and we won't have to buy mulch for the garden or landscaping for several years now.

Everything went extremely well except for the billing.  I had issues with payment which had to do with their office.  It was straightened out eventually.

This is a very professional and polite company. We wished we had called them first.  The price seemed fair for all the work they did with no damage to our property.  They were dependable in their communication , which was very nice after the bad experiences we had with other companies in that area.

Rob Allen had provided me a quote for the services described about six months ago.  I had delayed the work until this spring and contacted Rob about two weeks ago.  He contacted me and informed me when his folks would come out to do the work (we schedule the work during the day when I was not home).  When I came home the work trees were trimmed and the trimmings cleaned up.  Other than the improved appearance, you wouldn't have known anyone was there.  I had one small issue that Rob handled the next day.  Very impressed with Bartlett's customer service.  Great work, fair price and responsive.  Thanks again!

They weren't the cheapest, but they did a nice job. They really cleaned up and it looked as if they were never even in the yard. They were on time and we had no issues.

Bartlett is the best tree service in town, there is no question. Rob, the arborist, is a knowledgeable professional. I am amazed how he can tell which trees can be saved and which, sadly, need to go.The crew are also very professional, friendly, and conscientous.They have done several jobs for us now, each one was completed on time, on budget, and without incident.

Due to damage from Hurricane Isabel, the company was busy helping with storm damage clean-up.  I agreed to postpone the work and expect to have the tree removed by mid-October.  Experience to date has been satisfactory and professional.

Everyone was polite.  Everyone arrived when they said they would and were highly professional.  I've had guys stop by in their pickups stating they could cut it down.  Well, I could cut it down, but I didn't want any further damage done to the house, hence I called a service.

Our property is heavily wooded, and we were concerned about falling limbs damaging our cars and roof. We called Bartlett after hearing that their priority was to preserve trees, rather than cut them down. Arborist Rob Allen gave us a complete assessment of which trees needed pruning and which needed to be taken down (luckily, just one), and provided a written estimate. The crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date and completed the work to 15 trees on schedule (2 days). They were extremely professional, answered my questions thoroughly, and left the property cleaner than when they arrived. They exceeded my expectations, and since the work was done, I have had no problem with falling branches. I will continue to use them for tree maintenance in the future.
