"There was no mention of sod or topsoil by or in written contract which was signed by both homeowner and contractor. It was to be seed and strawed and homeowner was told before we left if he had any concerns or questions to let us know or call us and we would be happy to go over them with him. We have heard nothing from him and he was more then happy with the job when we left."
B and A Jones Excavating was great! I needed PVC drain pipe put under 8 gutter downspouts, and I wanted it carried way out, about 70 feet from the house, so it was a 2 day job. They carefully dug under a sidewalk and around utilities, checking grade all along the way to ensure water would run out. Everything was glued together securely. After the trenches were filled, they re-graded, seeded, and covered affected areas with straw. I would definitely hire them again. They were also less expensive than the other 2 quotes I got.
