Rick, the owner of R & J Enterprises, is not just a contractor. Rick is an artist. That is what he told me when we were into the kitchen remodeling. He's right. Rick made sure everything was done correctly down to the very last detail from concept to planning, to drawings and installation. If I had any issues, Rick was there to make sure it done to my satisfaction. Rick was not just a contractor that I hired. Rick became a friend that I admired for his skill and concern for a job done right. We love our new kitchen. Rick has also installed an attic fan that has made all the difference in this summer heat (2016). If you are looking for a True Professional, then look no further. I had originally contacted Rick, the owner of R & J Snyder Enterprises, LLC to give me a quote for drywall repair and painting at a condo I am renovating. After speaking with Rick, I also ended up hiring him to install a new tub, bath fixture, and water heater. He also performed some demolition work and hauled away the old cabinets, carpet, and other demolition materials. I had met with several contractors and received quite a few quotes. Ricks prices were very reasonable. This condo had been sitting empty for a while with no heat and no air conditioning. When replacing the bathtub, Rick discovered that the water lines had become brittle and the joints were literally breaking. I have built several homes and I am familiar with building and building materials. Yes…they were brittle. This could have been a very bad situation, especially being a top floor condo, but Rick was able to get the water lines replaced and walls patched to the point where they are basically perfect. You would never know the walls had to have all those repairs made to them. Rick is very very particular with his work. When he is finished it is Right…that’s the bottom line! I am a very particular person myself, and if his work impresses me to the point in which it has…Yes, he is the Best. It gets even better! Not only does Rick and his crew do Outstanding work, Rick is also a great communicator. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and to find one that actually listens to you and will keep you up to speed on what’s going on…that is rare. Rick does this…and he does this very well. You know the old saying…” Good help is hard to find” …well look no further. Once you talk to Rick, you will know right off the bat he is a True Professional and a great guy as well. Not only does Rick do Outstanding work…he actually looks out for you. I am not a trusting person by nature, but I have no problem saying…in Rick I Trust. I even told him that. I would hire Rick and his guys to do work for me again without giving it a second thought. Well done from start to finish

The team was very professional and the work was well done. They arrived in time and began working on peeping the house for the work. They put protective material all over the house to stop dust and debris. When the work was completed it looked like there wasn't any existing issue. I will definitely use them again for my upcoming work.

From my initial contact with Rick after being matched on homeadvisor, to the day of the work being done at my home, Rick was very upfront with me on every aspect of the work I needed done on my home during the remodeling of our basement. After our initial conversation, Rick came to my home two days later (9/9/2015) to view the problem area with the board behind my siding that needed to be replaced. During this meeting, he went into great detail about the work that would need to be accomplished to resolve the issue. Because he was so upfront with me, and the ability to fit me in on such short notice, we made the decision to hire Rick on the spot to make the repairs to our home. Rick and his team arrived on time on Friday, 9/11/15, and immediately began work exactly as he described to us previously during our first meeting. He and his team were able to complete the repairs to our home in one day, exactly as promised, and even made the siding look better than it had prior to the work being done. His team went to the extra effort to hide the cable lines behind the siding for a more clean look. The result being that the siding never even looked like it had been taken down. Rick is a class act, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any future projects that we have for our home. Hired Rick after discussing the project, agreed on all work to be done, and we had a very tight window to get the work completed. Rick coordinated everything, we had some work added during the process due to some unforeseen problems with the house that Rick handled without a problem. Mr. Rick Snyder, from R&J Snyder Enterprises, has earned our highest recommendation for the magnificent renovation of our master bathroom. This is the third time we have used Mr. Snyder and his team of highly professional and exceptionally skilled craftsmen - great work David and Ronnie! After my wife approved the renovation project, Mr. Snyder was the only one we considered. Mr. Snyder not only is a consummate master craftsman, but has a keen eye for design. Mr. Snyder helped us with all the design features and his vision was spot on. He assisted us in choosing the many different materials and textures that resulted in a stunning oasis. Travertine floor, glass and marble mosaic on the walls and in the shower, new vanity tops, wainscoting, white subway tiles in the shower and the cast iron double slipper pedestal bathtub all blend together beautifully. They gutted the bathroom right down to the wall and floor studs. The bathtub weight was over 540 lbs and Mr. Snyder took the extra step to contact the floor joist manufacturer to verify that our bathtub would be supported with the existing joists without reinforcement. Getting it up the oak stairway would have been a challenge for anyone else but Mr. Snyder. He brought in a special team that moved the beast up the flights of stairs without damage to the house or the tub. It is the centerpiece of the remodel. One of the things that impressed us is that Mr. Snyder, David, Ronnie, and Asa treated our home like it was their own. Before they left for the day, they ensured that the area was neat, tidy and clean. Mr. Snyder is a perfectionist and it shows in the quality of his work. I wish I could show you the before and after photos of the remodel, but you will have to contact Mr. Snyder to see the transformation. Hire Mr. Snyder for your project - you will not be disappointed. He is the only one for us and Rick should be the only one for you too.

Finding a trustworthy contractor is as likely as a unicorn sighting, however, Rick is amazing. He will be my go to contactor for everything. From the first meeting, he was professional. Took measurements of the rough in fixtures and was able to work within our timeline and budget (even after I decided I wanted more than a basic bathroom). He and his crew were punctual, stayed late to complete tasks, and did a phenomenal job. Other than my beautiful bathroom, one would never know they had been in the house because they completely cleaned up as if they had never been here.

They were on time. They showed up exactly when they said they would. The work was excellent.

Overall Rick and crew do a solid job. I called him to do some drywall work, but in reality I got a regular general contractor out of the deal. Rick has done repeat work in my home, and everything has been done well and within reasonable time. Rick has done two bathrooms, installed crown molding and done drywall, and even replaced our water heater. Rick will tell you if he does not know how to approach a project, he gets the guys he needs to do it. Very honest and direct....I like that.
