Gave me an estimate of 6 weeks for the project. It was on my 9th month when I fired them because of failing inspections twice, having to reinstate the permit, the job was not being done as per the contract. One of the things they should have used - all brand spanking new wood for the framing of the addition - some was old and weathered really bad. Measurements on the framework were wrong. Improperly insulated. They were paid up front and ran out of money - they didn't have money for supplies. When they started to put the roof up on my patio they were using wood instead of vinyl. They were totally incompetent, misappropriated my funds. They were supposed to have a Port-A-Jon installed for the workers. I paid for one (as per contract) and they never installed one. Gross negligence and professional misconduct.
Description of Work: The job was to put on a covered country porch with composite decking and vinyl railing across the front of the house with a stairway and sidewalk. In the back of the house they were to extend an existing deck with composite boards and vinyl pergola roof. An addition on to the house of 100 sq. feet (which consisted of a nook onto a master bedroom and a complete full bath) was also to be added. Rain gutters were also to be installed.
