Excellent customer service in the store with more than enough choices and price ranges. Patient with discussion between 3 women choosing for 2 bathrooms! Received refund for some supplies (glue?) that they did not use in installation.
Give them an overall B due to price add ons and installers .... Primary installer came with a nephew who did one bathroom while he did the other. Nephew was less attentive to detail and not a perfectionist. Both were pleasant and worked hard during time in the house. Would prefer to not have nephew again. (Did not use painted nails in new shoe-round, but took them out and used staple or nail gun. When putting in plate between bathroom floor and room carpet, he pounded with rubber mallet which made the plate dented and 'wavy'. He redid the plate at my request but used the same method with similar results. I gave it up.

The installer of the wood flooring did a phenominal job. Even though the project became more complicated than originally expected due to more extensive leveling of the concrete slab floor being required, the job was completed to exceed my expectations. The floors look great and everyone at the business (including the owner Charles) kept abreast of my projects progress. The kitchen tile, on the other hand, was not as pleasant of an experience. Much like my previous experience with Piedmont about 6 months earlier on the upper level of my home, the tile installation team was not good with detail and once again left without finishing up the detail work (despite my being very specific about wanting this done based on an earlier experience with them). They also damaged the door of my refrigerator during the installation. All that being said, Charles and my salesman (Wayne) were very responsive and did everything possible to ensure that I was satisfied with the work and that everything was completed without too much frustration. I would absolutely use them again for wood or carpet. It would have to be a really good deal to put up with the hassle of the people that they use to do tile work. The job ultimately turned out great, but the tile guys t**** the overall experience.

There was much confusion from start to finish regarding when the men would arrive. A crack across the floor occured-we were initially told that we would be charged to fix it-even though we had a warranty. When I told them about Angie's List, they had it repaired no charge to us. It was not good in my opinion.

Both carpet and tile installations were completed beautifully. Tile installers did not complete trim work prior to leaving/completing job. A quick call to salesman @ Piedmont (Wayne) got the situation resolved (carpet installers completed the trim work installation in tiled areas). Very good experience overall.
