About three weeks ago, Mr. Michael B Hill and his crew were working in a neighbors yard, so I walked over to ask for a quotation for cleaning out my gutters. He said it would be between $100 and $150. I took a card and said thanks, I'll think about it.

This morning when my wife took the dog out, Mr. Hill and a worker were in the driveway asking for payment. A very strange way to do business! I didn't know they were going to do the work. We had not agreed the work would be done, or on a price. Nothing agreed, nothing written.

I took a quick look at the parts of the gutter that I could see and determined that the work had been done, albeit without my consent. I told Mr. Hill that this was very unprofessional. Since I believe that he work had been done, I was willing to pay. I wrote the check for $100 and handed it over, and now i feel like a sucker.

Since I didn't see the work being done, it's hard to say what the quality of work was, so I didn't enter anything for that. The strange billing practices alone would give me pause. I'll probably look elsewhere for this sort of work in the future.

mike was very professional throughout the process, even when I told him he would not get the job.

My roof continued to leak from the day they installed my roof until February 2010 (yes, nearly two years). While they came repeatedly when I called them, they just never could fix the leak. The jury is still out as to if the roof will leak again since the last repair - we'll see when we get a good stretch of heavy rain. Mr. Hill himself was nearly impossible to reach. He didn't return my phone calls, until I called his elderly mother (listed in the phone book).

I was unsatisfied with the professionalism of Mr Hill (owner) he was constantly yelling at his workers useing profanities at my residence in earshot of neighbors and my wife! and later found tha MR. Mike Hill was also accused of rape and forceable sodomy in bedford county!!! THIS IS NOT SOMEONE I RECOMEND AROUND YOUR HOME!!!
