I am so happy with the way Chris and his team handled my mold remediation and water damage. The initial damage looked fairly small. However as they investigated, it was much larger than I thought. They kept me informed every step of the way and still answered my numerous calls. I was anxious to come back home and they understood this and explained that the drying process has to be at a certain level before the equipment could be removed. I also received an education regarding certifications in this field. I initially called another company and it appears that had no certification and did not find the source of my damage. So glad I chose Restoration 1 of Charlottesville.

They removed the water and ultimately saved the customers hardwood flooring on two separate occasions. They are who we recommend to our customers and friends for emergency cleanup and remediation.

I don't think it could have gone better. This happen on Monday and we had guests booked in the room involved on Friday. Long story short, by check in time, Chris and the guys had the room ship shape. Not only was the strictest attention given to detail such as moisture levels, etc, they are some of the most friendly, courteous and personable guys in the business.

What has helped make this crisis more bearable... is that Chris understood the gravity of our situation & acted speedily to remedy it - and, in such a friendly, helpful, conscientious manner. What impressed & was such a big help: His empathy for what we were going through. Additionally, through his keen observations, we learned that we also had an issue re: wood-boring beetles. So we are very thankful for Chris, for his professionalism, and for his knowledge & being so thorough.
