Bob's Barber Shop and Salon

Brooke cut (feathered) and blow dried my greying, shoulder length hair. She styled it nicely with the blow dryer without adding a bunch of gunk. Pleasant to talk to and the shop is steadily busy and clean. I was a walk in both times and did not have to wait.

I went in about 5 pm and there were people in front of me, I hadn't made a reservation but it is informal so I didn't think too much about it. I waited about 10 min before a woman asked who Morgan was, there is a clip board to sign in and request an stylist. After talking to her she asked if I could wait for Bridgett to get a professional haircut ( there were two other stylist in there one mostly takes only men unless your just wanting a trim and the other woman I think does the same), So I waited for another 20 minutes. Once I was in the chair we talked briefly about what I wanted ( note I really just wanted something to frame my face and short) so she started in. I have never been a big talker while getting my haircut but she was kind when we did talk. I really like the way she cut my hair and she straightened it real quick so I could see how it would look straight ( I have medium curls). While most places will charge you for putting product or running a straightener through your hair she only charged for the cut ( my hair is now a short rounded bob a little past my jaw line :) I only played $14 with a $10 tip. I would suggest going to anyone, but if you're looking for barber shop gossip you may want to aim for a weekend ( my boyfriend goes on weekends and says there is more people talking plus extra staff)
