B & G AUTO INC

My son is away at school and began to have car trouble.  We were a little nervous because we didn't know anything about any of the auto repair shops in Farmville.  But, I was already a registered member of Angie's List and thought to log-on and see if maybe I could find a repair shop.  First, I was allowed to add Farmville to my search bar, at no additional cost, (WAHOO!!!!) and secondly, found several repair shops within Farmville and the surrounding area.  I noted the names and then spoke with a couple of local Professors from the school to see where they took their cars.  It turns out they take their cars to the shop I had narrowed my Angie's List down too,  B & G AUTO INC, 708 W 3RD ST, Farmville, VA 23901.  It's a family owned and operated repair shop and they make you feel like one of the family.  My husband called from our hometown and spoke with the wife and explained that our son was a student at one of the local universities and was experiencing car trouble and could he bring it in so they could check it out. Absolutely, not a problem, we'll take care of him and the car and they did both.  I would highly recommend them and I would use them again.

They were prompt and I recommend them without reservation - they're great!

1. Took car in and left it at 8:00 AM. around 10 o'clock they called and told me what the problems would be and what they thought would be the cost to repair. I okayed it over the phone. About 4:30 they called me on my cell phone and left a message that the repairs were done. I picked the car up a little bit after 5. They stayed around for me to show up (they usually close at 5) and pay my bill and get my car. There have been other times when I needed to have the state inspection done. They took my wife to her work and picked her up when the job was complete. They have performed numerous repairs and even have told me how to remedy a problem for myself (had a problem with my car not starting. thought it was a fuel issue. turned out that it had something to do with the electronic and quot;securityand quot; system).
