Veterans on Duty was fabulous. They did it yesterday, I paid it this morning and it was fabulous. I know it was a little job for them but they still did an outstanding job and I was really pleased. They told me when they were coming and they had to postpone it once which was fine. The let me know by email every step of the way of what was going on, there was no hurry on my part to get it done. They were fine. They did a great job. I thought it was extremely reasonable, I expected to pay more than that. As far as punctuality goes, I can't say it was a B or anything like that, I'd still go with an A because they let me know ahead of time what the deal was.

Veterans on Duty was great. I had just had a couple of terrible experiences with two other (unrelated) service companies -- so Veterans on Duty was a breath of fresh air. They kept in contact with me -- even contacting me on the day they were to arrive (a very rainy day) to tell me they were held up in traffic. They arrived, performed the jobs efficiently (even needing to go to Home Depot to get some hardware for the job). The jobs were done perfectly and the vets were friendly and courteous. I believe they are honest and you will be able to trust what they do and say.
Veterans on Duty took on my small job willingly and pleasantly, when other companies didn't want to do the job. I recommend them without reservations and will definitely call on them again.

Steve did an excellent job clearing the snow off our driveway and the price was very reasonable.

Outstanding! We have an unusually steep driveway, and have had trouble getting people to plow it in the past. He worked quickly and professionally, and on his own initiative, salted icy patches he found. After being paid, he offered to do more (put down ice spray we have) without adding to the cost.

Veterans on Duty is an outstanding snow plower. I called in the morning of the big storm, Steve responded quickly and they were here in early afternoon to plow my driveway. The price was very fair, they did a very nice job - the entire driveway and even plowed some of the cul-de-sac and around my mailbox. Cant say enough - they plowed two of my neighbors as well and they were very happy.

We could not have been more pleased with the fine service and excellent results we received today from Veterans On Duty. Our driveway is very long, around 200 feet. We had a foot or more of snow overnight that was very wet and extremely heavy. Our snow blower had died unexpectedly. What to do?

I turned to Angie's List, searched for and quot;Snow Removaland quot; and I found Veterans On Duty and gave them a call. I was immediately connected to Steve. I explained our predicament and he said and quot;Don't worry, I know your area and we'll be back there in an hour or so and stop by.and quot; As promised, Steve and Travis came by with their truck and sturdy plow, and they took care of our big snow removal job in no time flat.

They did a great job of snow removal and were very courteous and friendly. I really was impressed by their speed in arriving and sense of urgency to get here and attack the snow. The price was very fair for the work they did. As they left they even stopped to free up our trash and recycling cans awaiting pickup that had been and quot;plowed inand quot; by the roads department, a kind and helpful extra service.

We learned that Veterans On Duty is also a full-service home improvement and repair business, and we will definitely consider them for electrical and other work as the need arises.

I recommend Veterans On Duty highly and salute them for their great work today. Nice job!

As a real estate agent, I've referred him to many of my clients who have hired him for projects worth $100 up to $10,000. He's one of the few people that I recommend because he's honest, affordable, and just the nicest guy. He's professional, prompt, and high quality.

Steve Nagle, VOD, was recommended to us by a realtor friend. In late June, he accompanied us through the house while making a list of our desired upgrades and problems that he discovered on the walkthrough...a list of tasks that required a diverse set of skills. Steve then gave us an estimate of the entire job, we paid 50% down, gave him the key to the house and the schedule was established. Once the house was emptied, the walls were prepped and painting began. The painters did quality work and were in communication with Steve whenever they encountered issues needing clarification. The paint job took approx 2 or 3 days as they professionally painted trim, ceilings, walls, windows, inside closets, the deck and the basement floor/walls/cinderblock divider. The basement floors and stairs required more dry-time due to the humidity and lack of a/c in the area. The workmen took the time to move the washer and dryer to ensure the entire floor was covered. The end result was professional and we were very satisfied.
The leak on the roof required someone to climb a ladder on the 2nd floor and pull themselves through an access door in ceiling. The basement was very rough before the project began...after VOD did their magic, one could visualize the possibilities of the space and it transformed into an warm and inviting space. Although VOD had other people's jobs that were being done at the same time, they adhered to the schedule and kept us appraised of the work.
Subsequent to the original list above, VOD stuck with us through August to ensure that additional tasks were addressed and our deadline was met. When Steve as given new takes, he would access the new work, provide and estimate, then schedule work upon approval. It was an exceptional experience. I trust Steve...coming from me that is a tremendous compliment. My husband does a good job of determining cost of construction/painting/labor hours/expenses for projects. In all cases, Steve came in with what we considered honest/reasonable estimates and stayed on schedule.
Our daughter has already contacted Steve about a project at her home in the near future. The next time we have a project, it is our intention to contact VOC also. It was a job well done!
