STANDARD CLEANING SERVICE INC

I had been a client of Standard Cleaning for years, and as time went on, the service was less reliable. There were people who would come and do a phenomenal job, but that was becoming less the norm. Lately when they would come, nothing would be dusted, the floors were never mopped, only vacuumed only lightly, and trash cans were often overlooked. Additionally, things were occasionally broken without mention by the crew. But what ultimately ended my time with them as a client was a lack of regard for scheduling. It was clear they had taken on bigger and/or more clients that were more important, and so would never show up when stated. Ultimately, that was not workable for me at all, especially considering I would have to do additional cleaning most times after they left.

It was not that great.  I didn't really like it that much.  There were no additional costs.  They had 3 people and were done in one hour.  There were three of them in the kitchen area and not much else was taken care of.  When one person would come for three hours they did a good job.  They came out soon after the purchase date in the same week.  I think they came like an hour late.  They were professional. 

The woman did an excellent job of cleaning. The only problem was a language barrier which resulted in the cleaners having to come out twice.

I've used Standard Cleaning three times and each time, the crew of women has been great and very thorough.  
Also, Ana has been very responsive and easy to reach via text and email, as well as by phone.
Sometimes we've had 1 or 1-2 people in our apartment, sometimes its been as many as four, but they all work very hard and clean very well while they're here.  The first time we used them, it was a post-tenant cleaning, before we moved back into our unit.  The crew did a great job and was very thorough, getting moulding, ceiling fixtures, and everything else.
Since then, we'v had them back twice.  Each time, I expected to get more cleaning done in between visits but as usual life catches up and we've let things go more than usual.  Also, each time, they've had to work around boxes and bins of things we haven't found a perfect place for, or still need to downsize.  I'm very happy with the degree to which they've gotten our place relatively spotless each time.
All of the women Ana has sent has worked very hard.  I will be using them again and would recommend them.  

It started out good and I really hate to post this; but we as consumers need to know about 'bait & switch'. They started off with the 3 lady team and one speaking perfect english to learn our Home. It got worse over time with no calls to say they would be late or not there at all, 1 person spending a whole day (supposedly) in our house and leaving dust on everything including tops of TV, dresser, frig...you name it. Then the breaking of things like blinds, PC laptop cables, bathroom fixtures and FAILED to admit it. I called Ana (Supervisor/owner I guess) and she gave the ULTIMATE FAIL customer service response by saying that the cleaning person would have to admit to breaking the item in order for her to reimburse for it.
NOT. If the cleaning person was going to admit to it; she would have done so. I also initiated a sign in log to know who was in my Home while we were away and when my daughter was out of school. They did it a couple of times, then acted like it meant nothing to them. It all feel apart when I caught the cleaning person throwing away my pet's toys and when I went to talk to her to ask her to stop; not only could she not understand me, she couldn't even interpret my sign language to stop it. I'm all for equal opportunity in the work force, but when you can't do your job by understanding my needs; you shouldn't be in my Home.
They happily took a Christmas bonus that I gave to 3 of them individually during Christmas of $40 a piece, but after that; they were an epic FAIL.
BEWARE...You've been warned!

I had to spend an additional two and a half hours after she left finishing cleaning. She never touched the lamps and there was still dust everywhere. The owner was pretty rude to me and asked why I hadn't cleaned the house before they showed up.

The agent that Standard Cleaning Service, Inc. was very punctual, thorough, detailed-oriented, and cleaned every nook and cranny as requested. She did window seals, baseboards, corners, inside shelves, etc. The fridge and stove look brand new! She was very friendly and checked in with me every now and then to make sure everything was being cleaned to my standard. I will DEFINITELY be using them again.
Only thing I would have done differently is to request the time period it takes having one cleaner versus two or three cleaners and I would have paid to have two - three cleaners. The agent did an OUTSTANDING job and she was definitely working as efficiently and fast as she could, but it took a little longer than I anticipated.

Besides being a bit late, ladies were quick, responsive, and thorough.

The ladies were promt. I had purchased a deal for 2 hours of house cleaning for my one bedroom condo. They sent 3 ladies so were in and out in no time. They did basic cleaning of the bathroom, floors, bedroom, and kitchen. Results were satiscfactory. My only compliant is it doesn't appear they cleaned the floors under some of the furnture that could be reached with a mop or broom. Overall happy with the services and was a good value for the money.

Standard Cleaning Service did an amazing job- we are very pleased.  Ana the manager made an effort to work around our schedule, the crew arrived on time, and my house was cleaned from top to bottom.  I thought the price was reasonable considering the amount of work they did.

I was pleased with the service.  The crew arrived 15-20 min late, but in fairness, I asked for a last minute appointment and was pleased they could work me into the schedule. The ladies cleaned well, and it took 1.5 hours approx to clean approx 845 SQ FT for about $100.

They showed up on time.  Started working right away and stayed late.  They did a great job and were very nice.

The first time the ladies came (I think it was a Groupon) they did an amazing job. I was very impressed with the quality and thoroughness of the cleaning. From that point on it was never quite as good. I got monthly service for a one bedroom (approx 800 sq ft) which they charged me 88 for including supplies. I requested the same ladies as the first time and I did not get them. I got different ladies each time the first few months but after awhile the same lady would come. She did an OK job. They were never on time. They gave a three hour window initially and consistently came after that window. Towards the end I got a one hour window which was a bit better but they were not frequently on time. The cleaning was the best part of the experience as the lady who came the last few months did a good job although the fact that she did not speak English was difficult to communicate. My husband and I went on vacation around July/Aug and said we'd be out of town and we'd resume in September. At this point we were told that we'd have to get a deep cleaning which was estimated around 150. Mind you there is not more than 700 sq ft of space that they were cleaning. It is a very small one bedroom. At that point we canceled service all together. If the ladies from the first time came consistently each time and the price was more on par with other places (~60/a cleaning) it would be have been worth it but as we never really knew who was coming and the quality was never as good it was not worth sticking around even considering the

Amazing.  Would highly recommend.  I decided to pull the plug on my former maid service that wasn't working out.  I was noticing that things were gradually deteriorating around the house and wasn't getting the level of service needed.  I called 3 maid services to ask someone to visit the property and provide an estimate where I could utilize bi-monthly services.  The owner of the company came to my house that day, walked around the home/took pictures of the shower and tile used so she could find appropriate cleaner that would be effective on tile, and provided me an estimate.  The estimate was fair and I decided to give them a try.  They came the following week with 3 ladies and did an amazing job.  The house looked and smelled great!  They are now on schedule to come every 2 weeks and the level of service and attention to detail is awesome.  Look forward to working with them for many years.

Fantastic.  I'm really pleased with the quality of their service.  I even accidentally left some cash lying out and didn't feel like I had to worry at all about it "disappearing".  They're a very honest and reliable service.  I have a friend who uses them as well and is also very pleased with their service!

I had used their service in the past.  They never sent the same crew to do my house.  They always send a different crew and that bothered me.  I have dogs and I just saw a difference in the level of cleaning that they did.  They send a new crew each time and they did not know the house and they did not know the dogs.  I did not like the idea of different crew coming in to my house every other week.  They were punctual.  I would not use their service in the future.

A friend of mine recommended Standard Cleaning.  I used them a few times and the first time they came they did a GREAT job, but I think that's because the owner came.  After that, they did an okay job - I was always happy with what they did.  Unfortunately, however, I caught them throwing my pillows on the floor a couple times when they were making my bed.  That did NOT make me happy.  Then, I had a problem with their punctuality and today they crossed the line.  I called them a week ago to set up an appointment to have them meet me at my house at 8am.  They assured me they would be there at 8am.  I called them yesterday to reconfirm, and they assured me again that they would be at my house at 8am.  This morning, I had to call them around 8:10 to ask where they were.  The dispatcher said she wasn't able to reach the crew initially, but she would try to get ahold of them again.  I told her that if they were not there in 5 minutes, I would have to leave because I needed to go to work.  Needless to say, I finally left my house at 8:45 and they still had not arrived.  I was very upset and told them I would not be using their service again.

Cleaning was inconsistent (sometimes good quality sometimes mediocre) since each week a different cleaner or group of cleaners cleaned the house. When I worked full time, the changing schedule of the cleaning service worked ok on the assigned day. When I attempted to actually schedule the cleaning within a 7 hour window, this was not delivered, although always promised. At least 2-3 times, the housecleaning service never showed up at all. I had to call to find out that they made a scheduling errors and reschedule it. A few times, items were broken, yet never reported. This was minor.

Emailed company to inquire about rates and availability. Ana called and advised it would be $125. I asked if it was a flat rate. No, she advised, it's $25/hour; it will probably take 5 hours. I advised the place is very small and given it is empty, it probably wouldn't take so long. She advised the rate was hourly so if it only took 3 hours, it would be $75, plus $10 for cleaning supplies if they did not use mine, for a total of $85. I asked that yes, they bring their own supplies and scheduled them for the following Monday at 9:00 a.m. At 9:35 on Monday, when they did not arrive, I called Ana. She advised she forgot to schedule anyone to come. She could get people there by 11:00. Back at the condo at 11:00, I met the cleaners who only seemed to have vacuums and brooms with very little else, and after I advised them of what needed to be done, watched as they poured my bottle of Fantastic into the toilet. They advised it would take 3 hours and I'd come back at 2:00. I cannot fathom what they did for 3 hours. Oven, fridge, kitchen cabinets, kitchen sink, and counter were all still dirty. Not even a damp rag was wiped in the fridge or oven -- rings of food jars still on shelves, grease in oven. Bathroom fan was broken (I had asked them to vacuum the small fan space as there was thick dust); however, dust was still there, but fan bent. End of shower curtain rod was dislodged and apparently thrown out. Bathroom cabinets, sink and faucet still dirty. Seemed only floors (hardwoods) were vacuumed/wiped with towel (but not mopped as cleaning it myself showed much dirt). When Ana called to advise the job was complete and the cleaning personnel needed to get to another job, (when I arrived, they were still wiping down the floor in the kitchen, so they were not quite "finished"), she advised the cost would be $150. Stunned, I reminded her of our initial conversation. She said, since there were 2 people it was $25/person. Again I reminded her that there was no mention of a per person charge -- the first conversation was detailed and clear. The person that referred me to this business advised me of the $25/hr rate as well (there is no mention of people). She replied, among amazingly unprofessional other things, that she did me a favor and didn't have to send anyone at all. Unreal. Unbelievably poor cleaners. Stunningly dishonest general manager. A nightmare service experience.
