Berto and team were friendly, responsive, and helpful. They came the day they were scheduled and arrived fully prepared to cut down our tree safely and professionally. They cut the tree down, ground the stump, and removed all the wood chips. They were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Santa Elena did a great job removing 3 large trees, grinding the stumps and removing all material. One of these trees was between 2 houses that are only 20 feet apart. They carefully removed everything with no damage to either place. Reasonable price, attentive service. Highly recommended.

The Santa Elena crew were the best team of workers I have had in years. Because the tree was only 10 ft from the house, all limbs had to be lowered with ropes. There was no room for large equipment, so it was all hand cut. Fantastic job! Great price! Friendly, highly skilled professional team! Couldn't be happier!

I phoned the owner, Beto, and received a free estimate shortly after the call. Overall, I received 4 estimates for the job. One came from a company I'd used before and liked, but felt was a bit pricey, and three other companies that were well reviewed online. Santa Elena's quote was the lowest I received, and based on the online reviews I'd read I decided to proceed. His team arrived on the afternoon I was told they would, and they showed up with an appropriate sized team and with all the tools required to get the job done. They made quick work of the two massive trees, despite extra complications that one of them was resting on a neighbors fence that required careful work to not cause further damage. I was satisfied with the quality and speed of the work. The entire crew was pleasant, and the job was done to my satisfaction. Beto even came on site to supervise the work and ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Without question, I will call Beto again for future tree removal needs.

This was a great experience. Betto provided the estimate. The team came out about 1.5 weeks later and performed the work. They were very careful and everything was expertly done. One tree that's right behind our house they were very careful with...each cut branch was carefully lowered with a rope so as to avoid damaging the house. Betto is a very nice guy and the guys who were working for him looked like they were having a good time and enjoy working for him. Overall, this was an excellent experience and we'll use this company again in the future.

This was a unique experience for all involved. I needed to have a very large Northern Catalpa from my backyard to make room for an addition to the rear of the house. Not only did the tree have to come down but there happened to be an equally large honey bee nest in the tree. Santa Elena Tree Service came in with the lowest quote from three different tree removal companies that I inquired with by quite a large margin and were willing to work with some local beekeepers to safely remove the bees and relocate them to a new home. I can't say enough good things about the work they did. It went much faster than I expected (about 6 hours total including about an hour and a half to load the large section of tree with the bees in it into the beekeepers truck). I will definitely use them again if I need any tree services done.

Scheduling an estimate was a simple phone call, and the company was able to make an estimate a few days later. Beto was on time and quickly surveyed the work, gave me some advice, and drew up an estimate. I scheduled the work a few days later. I wish I could speak more about the work process, but the crew of four arrived after I left for work, and were gone when I came home. The only evidence that they had been there was a neatly raked out area where the trees used to be and a small scattering of wood chips the size of mulch, also neatly contained in the area of the old trees. I couldn't be happier with the work and will use them again.
One small downside was that I had to call to confirm their arrival the night before after we had tentatively scheduled the work via email a few days prior.

They are responsive, do good quality work, and it was an affordable price. They also cleaned up, and hauled away all the debris rather than leaving it on the curb.

Beto, the owner, made an effort to fit me into his schedule quickly, even though his schedule was very busy. The crew was unable to come on the first agreed-upon date, but because he was fitting me in as extra work, I was not unhappy. The work was completed 2 days later. The crew did a terrific job. They were polite, worked efficiently, did the work as agreed, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. They stacked the lumber from the tree on my porch, which was an extra effort. Good work and thanks.

My wife saw one of their trucks and she described how studious they were at doing their job. I initially didn't pay attention to her comments, because we joined Angie's list to be able to find the already highly recommended services, but this time around I decided to take a leap of faith, so I called them to get an estimate. Beto called me and he came over; he was a nice guy who seemed to know what he was doing, and it wasn't long before he gave me an estimate that was almost a third of what another highly recommended service (Dad's tree services) offered me.
They didn't ask for their payment until the whole work was done, at which point I was the one to call and ask how to pay them. 5 star for this company.
