Redfin

I'd like to submit complain about Redfin's bad customer service. I didn't have good experience selling and buying a house from Redfin and provided a bad review about my agent. They reached out to me but busy explaining how great job they did and I was wrong. I didn't feel I was heard, and in fact, I didn't even get to talk to the broker. They work as a team and I didn't get enough attention. The agent's attitude wasn't pleasant. I thought it might be her personality. But there was no brochure for the open house to sell. The agent showed me only two houses and other lower level agents showed me houses. As a first time buyer, I asked for special attention for buying a house. I didn't get the attention. The agent sent another person during walk- through in the process of buying a house. The guy just opened the house and was on the phone the whole time. There were bottles of honey left from the seller's agent. All the hoeny bottles were gone when I moved in 3 days afterwards. I bought the house without contingencies so needed expert's opionion and advice. When I gave her a bad review, anther broker from the same office called me and said they won't work with me and block my phone number. Also, I don't know what was the reason, but the agent kept pushing me to use her lender, which caused me lots of stress when I was already under lots of stress. They made great money out of me, selling a big house and buying a house as well. Real estate company is supposed to provide a customer service.

Redfin is a great company. I'm very happy with both transactions. I used them to purchase a home and sell another. They saved me a ton of $$ on both transactions. This is a company for the knowledgable buyer and seller. With the age if the Internet, I knew what I wanted to buy and where. The company's website is IMO the best search real estate tool out there. Before I found my house, I saved my search in and immediately when something came on market I was notified. The scheduling to view was quick and negotiations very professional with my agent. I doubted him at first but he really came through when the seller was playing hard ball. I could tell he was an experienced realtor from that exchange. On the sell side i used another agent who specialized in sales. Again he gave me sound advice to stage the place. He sent some professional photo company that really worked their magic to bring out the best in the photos. I was in shock how quickly we ot a contract considering the othe houses on the market in te area.
I think Redfin did a great job helping me market the place and setting my place as the top value deal in the area. I was very happy and definitely will be a return customer. Don't expect the agents to baby the customers as they are really better suited for the experienced buyers/sellers.

They do everything from house tours to closing. It has been an amazing resource. They give candid opinions of the house. I feel that they are honest with me about houses.
