Presidential Appliance Repair

Let me say at the outset that I would definitely call on Presidential Appliance Repair again if I have any other appliance issues (hopefully not). I found the company professional with top notch customer service and most importantly, they resolved my issue so quality looks to be top notch as well. The ice maker dispenser was not working so I looked up a few reviews and Presidential had some very good reviews so I took a chance. Happy to say all the other reviews were spot on. Priscilla from the mgmt office texted or called me w/in an hour of my original inquiry. She was able to secure a date that worked for me and something no one has ever asked me to do before is, she asked me to send her the model number of the refrigerator. She wanted to be sure the Technician/perhaps owner Tim, had the parts in hand so the repair could be completed right away. Really appreciated this level of efficiency. Tim came right on time, was very professional, conducted a thorough review and was able to diagnose the issue relatively quickly. Unfortunately what I thought/identified as the issue was different from the actual issue so he did need to order a part after all but it came in quickly - w/in a couple of days and the ice dispenser is working great again. As for fee structure, as of May 2021, they charge approx $90 for an initial assessment visit and once they diagnose the issue, there is a tiered service fee structure (and of course parts). I had a solenoid replaced and I believe the entire fee - initial visit, repair and parts was a little less than $250. Really pleased to have found this company and as mentioned, have added them to my roster of reliable companies. They are very responsive and most importantly, I believe they are trustworthy.

I want to give a shout out to Tim, even though he did not repair my refrigerator. He responded to my inquiry within minutes, and when he learned our appliance is a Samsung (which he does not service), he pointed me to another company that did a fine job. He could have just said "sorry", but he had the courtesy to still help me out. He deserves all these great reviews.

When I called Presidential to schedule the appointment, Tim asked me for the model number of the dryer, so he would have the correct part(s) with him. Another company did not do this and said if the technician does not have the part, they would have to order and come back to install it. So I cancelled my appt with the other company and went with Presidential. Tim was prompt and very professional. I did not rate the price because I do not know how it compares with others.

Fixed the problem

Tim was excellent! He was great to deal with on the phone and in person. Was nothing but open and honest and was able to recommend repair vs replacement. I had another repair man that couldn't diagnose the issue and wanted to charge way more for something Tim diagnosed over the phone and repaired at a very fair price. I would highly recommend!

Oven had been refusing to heat. Contacted Tim, who gave me an estimate by email and helped me find the model number so he would have the right part. Scheduled the repair and Tim arrived promptly, did the repair quickly and was highly professional. Strongly recommend.
He also said that my old dishwaher, which isn't performing well, should probably be replaced rather than repaired. I appreciated his honesty and not trying to take advantage of me.

The guy is amazing. He was extremely prompt. He was exemplary, excellent. It was amazing. I would have pulled out the whole kitchen floor if this guy had not fixed that dishwasher because it was built into place and I do not know how he did it. He was cheap too, very reasonable and knowledgeable.
