O’Grady’s Landscape is a team of dedicated landscape professionals. We are a residential design and build company specializing in building beautiful and functional outdoor living environments. We also maintain existing landscapes and lawns. O’Grady’s has been serving the northern Virginia area for over 18 years in North Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Vienna and Great Falls. We take great pride in offering courteous and professional service to enhance the quality and appearance of your property. O’Grady’s is a mid-size company. We are big enough to answer all your landscape needs, yet small enough to give you timely and personal service. We have approximately 25 employees and seven crews. O'Grady's Landscape did a fantastic flagstone walkway, edged my beds and spread mulch, trimmed the shrubs and maintained my lawn. When it came time to sell in the Spring, I had the best looking lawn of all of the homes for sale. Well worth the investment. The team was always flexible to get the work done on time. Great prices too!

Really, really good work. Mike Hambleton was the supervisor for both projects, for a large crew including some mechanized equipment (a "Dingo" loader). These were big, complex jobs involving a lot of engineering and design work, and the need for tight supervision and occasional changes and fixes. All of it started on time, finished on time, and was done to perfection, including following some of my unusual directions. Mike was always cheerful and responsive. We had billable change orders, and they were reasonably priced and done without significant delays to the rest of the work. I definitely recommend this outfit.

The O'Grady's onsite crew worked hard and professionally,. and the yard looked great when they were done.  They had to sit out a down pour for a few minutes, and then they jumped right back into it.  They left for the day and missed a few minor items, but there project manager Mike Sullivan was very responsive in addressing these issues and getting the crew back out to finish things up.  Mike Hambleton was also involved in the front end of things on this job in terms of quoting and scheduling and he was also very helpful and responsive.

It was a very positive experience. It was reasonably priced. They were very responsive. They do customize work when required and high quality judgement. They were friendly and a good company. We’ve been using them for routine lawn maintenance but also for significant special project in landscaping. That’s all I used in new walkways, gardens and planning. The mowing is every two weeks. Every time it’s mowed, it’s $40 or $45. It seems reasonable and competitive to the market. They do what you’re saying.

The whole projects was great! The owner, Terry, looked at photos of what we wanted and came up with a beautiful plan. He was super responsive to my every email. The crew showed up on time and worked very hard for two days. We could not be more pleased with the result. Our yard has been transformed! We will definitely be using them in the future.

I only did business with them for about 4 months. They were starting to recycling the leaves and mulching them by leaving them all over the lawn. We went back and forth with them about this issue and they told me they could no accommodate to my requests with the leaves. I wanted the leaves to be bagged and hauled away. Another time, they were suppose to re-sod part of my yard but the end product was ridiculous. They were just horrible to do business.

This is the second major project we have used O'Grady's for. A few years ago we had them built a pavers patio and cleared our yard of ivy and brush.
O'Grady's is fabulous. Terry O'Grady is honest and will help you in any way he can. The workers are excellent and always clean up after they are done for the day. They make it so easy for the home owner.

O'Grady's Landscape has been working on my lawn for awhile. I have a contract with them for regular work and they also do requested work, as well. Sometimes, they come weekly to do regular maintenance and other times to do other things. I've had great experiences with them. They're excellent. They're responsive, professional and timely. They are all those things.

When I was looking for a landscaping company, a friend referred me to O'Grady's. She assured me that they would be able to design and install the kind of back patio I was looking for. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but their designer worked with me to come up with a design that I was very pleased with. Once the job started, I was very impressed with how efficiently they executed the installation. Their workers were very polite and friendly the entire time they were at my house (almost a week.) At the end of each day they left a very clean work site. Once the project was done, the project manager made sure that I was 100% satisfied with the finished product. I was very pleased with the completed patio and have received so many compliments on the work that they did! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable landscaping company.

We've had an ongoing contract with them since 2008. We are fairly happy with their service. In the last year we had a lot of weeds pop up so we don't know if they weren't doing a good job. We were happy the two years prior so we don't know if it was just the nature of the climate and how the grass and weeds were growing. We talked to them and they did another treatment so they are fairly responsive with questions like that. We pay $40 for a mow. They do the leaf collection two times a year and it costs between $250-300 each time. They do it in the early and late fall. The weed control, aeration and fertilizing is another $200 a year. We were really happy the first two years and this last year has been kind of questionable but we will continue to use them.
