Mike did a fantastic job. He cleaned and inspected all of the components of our fireplace, and it is working better than it ever did before. He also explained how the ignition for the pilot light works, which a previous service provider incorrectly told us was broken. Mike was very professional, and we would highly recommend him.

Excellent service, knows his stuff really well, no-nonsense talking, very professional. I had another company look at my fireplace first, and got totally frustrated with 3 visits by separate technicians who spent hours and still didn't know what they were doing. Got Mike's contact from a friend and he turned out to be really great. Right away he figured out what was wrong. His solution was
to replace the bad gas valve and remove the unnecessary thermocouple in the old assembly (while the other company wanted to charge close to $700 to replace the old assembly, plus $900 for the gas valve). He was very thorough, making sure things were done the right way. He carried all kinds of tools for different tasks (in comparison the technicians from the first company were using pliers to do the gas line plumbing), even went out of his way to buy special screws. He is the fireplace guy I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying that Mike (owner) was fabulous to work with and I was impressed.  He came out the next day after I contacted him and explained evry sing thing about the work he performed, the parts and, left me with written instructions and recommendations.  He was very patient, professional and thorough and when he left, everything was clean and the fireplace looked better than it did when I bought the house.  I had been searching awhile for someone to service this unit for me when I found this company.  My search is over and as long he's servicing my fireplace I will not use anyone else.  I highly recommend this company and it's owner!

Mr. Celley arrived right on time and immediately went to work. He had our malfunctioning gas fireplace working in the span of just a few minutes, after quickly diagnosing the issue. He then fully serviced and cleaned the unit and fire box, diagnosed a minor leak (which he repaired), and replaced a faulty igniter. 
From the beginning to end of the service call he was upfront and open about what he was doing, explained costs, and provided a great explanation of operation and safety. His pricing was reasonable and his execution impeccable. I will gladly do business with him again in the future!

I can't say enough good things about the service we received on our gas fireplace.  It was long overdue for inspection and maintenance, and Michael came out the day after I called.  He was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.  Even though our fireplace still worked, he thoroughly inspected and cleaned the unit, took care of a few small issues that could have become big ones and left it looking like it's brand new!  I'm so happy, that now I can't wait for winter (well, maybe I can).  
We were charged a very reasonable price, and could not be more satisfied with the result.  We'll definitely call him for any future service needs, and will highly recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

Mike was on time, efficient and thorough. He was extremely knowledgeable and adamant about safety about gas stoves. I picked him because he is certified by the National Fireplace Institute as a gas fireplace specialist. He was also very upfront on the phone about his fee. We bought our home and it came with this unvented gas fireplace and I wanted to be sure it was operating correctly and safely.

I am very happy with the service that we received from this company.  I contacted NOVA Green Energy to service a gas fireplace that would not light.  Mike (the owner) answered the phone himself and scheduled an appointment for Saturday of the same week.  He communicated by email to verify the appointment and sent an explanation of services/ fees.  Mike arrived as scheduled and wasted no time diagnosing and correcting the problem.  He is extremely professional, skilled, and takes great pride in his work.  I wish all companies had this level of customer service.

He arrived on time, moved quickly to check out the fireplace that 5-6 different service providers refused to come to work on.  Our fireplace would flicker on and stay lit for 10-15 minutes, then go out for 20-60 minutes, then pop on for a few minutes and start all over again. 
We had one other service provider recommended from Angie's list that had worked on it previously and promised to return with a part and fit it, but after a year of repeated calls and promises, never came.  I wrote a bad review as a result and then found Nova Green Energy.
NGE quickly identified the problem as a worn out Thermophile, told me of the cost and fixed it within a matter of 30 minutes.  he also cleaned the fireplace, replaced a related wall switch (we changed all our switches from buff to white and couldn't find this particular switch), replaced the embers and explained the potential safety issues and how to insure problems don't occur.  He recommended a plug in Carbon Monoxide and gas alarms detector that I could get from Amazon and explained why we should have this for safety reasons.  No previous service provider ever mentioned this.
What I really liked was that he no only told me how to re-set/re-lite the gas fireplace, but he shut it off and told me to lite it myself while he watched.  As it turned out, I had been doing it the wrong way--and the hard way--for 20 years.  Most providers just tell you and it doesn't sink in.  By having me actually do it, I now will remember what to do and how to do it the next time. 
He was very helpful and informative and I expect to call on this company again in the future.

Mike Celley showed up on the early side of the 2 hour window he had given us. Our gas fireplace had been not working for about 5 years. He thoroughly inspected all components. It turned out the control box was damaged by battery leakage and the remote was also bad. He had both parts on the truck (a big bonus!). He explained how to light the pilot light if it should get blown out by the wind. He also cleaned the fireplace doors and thoroughly cleaned up the area when he was finished. He is also a nice gentleman personally.
