I've been using Merry Maids for the past 3 years and they are great. The two women that come are always smiling and very kind. I really appreciate this because I'm always home when they come so it's nice to have happy people around that are happy to do their work and do their work efficiently and well. They are really quick (about 1 -2 hours) for my 3 bedroom house but do a good job. Again, I appreciate this because since I'm home I don't really feel like having cleaning ladies around all day. There has been days when I have completely forgotten that they were coming or that all the kids were sick and I didn't get a chance to pick up or finished my dishes and they quietly did my dishes and tied up quickly with a smile. Just so kind as I know that it's not in their job description.

Polite. accommodating re scheduling, thorough and fast. They did what they said they would do and did it well.

It was an OK job. Need to be much more specific with this group. The price was also changed from the phone to the actual location.

The management is nice and courteous, but they use teams to do the cleanings. You never know who you are going to get. The problem is communication and attention to detail. They do not effectively pass on information. So, for example, they kept knocking my satellite speakers off their stands. I told them every time to be careful not to do that. But, they did it on every visit, and they would stick the wires back in to make it look like nothing had happened, but they never actually attached the wires, so it was easy to tell they had done it. Anyway, I complained multiple times, terminated the service once, was promised better performance, and then ended up terminating it again because the problem remained. They also have a habit of not putting things back where they were. Instead of moving, dusting and moving back, they just move and dust.

Husband, 4 kids & me in 12 yr;3 Story;6 BR;6.5 Bath home w/5+ addl rec/lib/music/den/offices, I clean by myself; other cleaning crew was 2+ years ago. First used 12/21/06 for holidays. This report is based on my May 2007 First Deep Cleaning. Jesus came out to inspect and give estimate. House was cluttered & messy. He est 4.5 to 5 hrs minimum; told me Crew Leader would let me know how much more time if any was needed based on my requests and/or what could be accomplished in the original time estimate when crew arrived. Leader told me additional 1.5 hrs would satisfy my extra requests. Professional, prompt & thorough.

Once the crew and us, got to know each other a little, and communicated our priorities and expectations, we were satisfied with Merry Maids Falls Church. Miriam, the owner, is accessible and friendly and helped resolve misunderstandings. There is nothing special about this service, but several neighbors use it and are pleased.

The cleaning was fine, but the process of meeting the crew at the apartment was very frustrating. The problem was partly due to my forgetting to tell my husband that I had given the company his cell phone number (since mine is usually off). The company called my husband when they were on their way, and he didn't know anything about it. That said, I had called the company office as soon as I arrived at the apartment (before the appointed time) to let them know that I was there and to find out when they expected to arrive. The operator said that they were on the way, but were running late. After a series of infuriating communication mix ups, including the operator's writing down my cell phone number incorrectly (I had turned it on by then and left it on) they finally arrived and started work quite late.

I AM SO VERY HAPPY WITH MERRY MAIDS. I HAVE USED OTHER PLACES IN THE PAST, AND I JUST DIDN'T TRUST THEM LIKE I TRUSTED MERRY MAIDS. EVERYTIME THEY LEAVE I AM SO VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY HOME LOOKS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. I AM 100% SATISFIED.

I THINK THAT THEY ARE AN AVERAGE COMPANY AND I USE THIS COMPANY EVERY TWO WEEKS. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND THEY GET THE JOB DONE. I AM PLEASE WITH THIS COMPANY.
