Marco was always very nice, but I had a few problems: His time estimate slipped again and again. At first it was going to take three days, then four for sure, then five, etc. Some work done was sloppy. For example, some parts were not entirely even, the baseboards were put on in a way that left some gaps, he originally didn't replace the wood as I asked, one piece of old damaged wood was put back in upside-down rather than replaced, and the wood removed was not done consistently. For the most part he addressed my problems, although it was difficult and took a few times to get the job good enough for me to be mostly satisfied.

The company contacted me pretty quick. The owner was late for our initial meeting. The owner proposed doing the work on a weekend, then proposed coming during the week, but then ended up coming on the weekend as originally proposed. They were late arriving on Saturday morning, but were polite, clean and OK to deal with.

THE WORK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 4 DAYS, WE'VE NOW WAITED WEEKS AND WEEKS AND IT'S STILL NOT DONE. ALMOST ALL OF IT (EXCEPT THE DRYWALL AND SOME OF THE PAINTING) HAS TO BE RE-DONE. I SUPPLIED EXPENSIVE CHERRY LUMBER AND OTHER LUMBER AND IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN USED ON SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB OR WASTED; WE'RE TRYING TO SELL OUR HOME AND THE WORK DONE ACTUALLY DEVALUES OUR HOME AND MAKES IT HARDER TO SELL. THIS IS THE WORST CONTRACTOR I'VE EVER DEALT WITH, BY FAR. HE WILL NOT SHOW WHEN PROMISED; WORK NOT DONE WHEN PROMISED, DOES NOT OVERSEE SUBS ADEQUATELY, ETC.

Marco returned my call the day I called him, and it was very easy to set up a convenient time for him to come. However, he was 2 1/2 hours late, and I had an appointment scheduled for 2 hours after he arrived (which I told him). The work he did was good, but b/c of the time crunch, he had to leave the area around the towel rack unpainted, which I later painted in myself. When I looked at the completed job, one of the racks was obviously quite crooked. The painting job was incomplete because he had to redo that rack.

The shower looks great. Marco was easy to get a hold of, but was late several times. Some of the small details weren't perfect, but overall I am pleased with the work he did.

Marco is truly incredible. He does first class work and has a great work ethic. He truly is a gem among contractors, and I highly recommend him for any type of general renovation. In my particular case, he's really helped us through an assortment of projects. He's very professional, and is willing to work as long as is needed to get the work done right the first time.
