I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they do a really good job. I thought the ladies were very thorough and only had one odd thing that happened. One of the ladies dropped a spice container that was next to my stove and chipped it. It took me about two weeks to call them about it and I was told if I would have called either the same or next day after it happened they could have done something about it, but that they could not do anything about it two weeks later. It is not hugely a bad thing, but it did happen and I was surprised the owner did not offer to clean my house one more time or provide a discount for another visit. I kind of expected it with his Angie's List good rating. However, he was nice on the phone, but I had even given the girls who cleaned a nice tip. I thought they did a good job on the quality of cleaning and the price was great.

"I am shocked with your review as you never contacted us and Alexandria is an area that we've been servicing since 2000. I'd politely ask you to not use us as an excuse for getting your refund and I would like to see Angie's List verify the validity of the customer's reviews by checking with the businesses to confirm or get our side of the story; as negative reviews are expected because we cannot please everyone all the time. This company did an excellent job. They called several times to confirm
the date, get approval to get in my apartment, and let me know when
everything was finished. My apartment building misplaced the key I
left. they called me to let me know and were super patient.
The job itself was great. I was moving out and wanted to have it as
clean as possible before the exit inspection. It was spotless and they
payed very close attention to detail.
I hired them to clean the condo I purchased as well. Definitely give them a try.

I took leave from work and arrived at my home for the appointment on time. They weren't there. I called the office and was told they had driven by my house, but were on their way to another job. I rescheduled and left a key for them. When I walked in my house after they had cleaned, the house didn't smell clean. I had to search for evidence. I found the cobwebs still under the furniture by the front door, and it appeared they'd mopped a bathroom without vacuuming. The dusting was good, but my overall impression was that they'd rushed, and hadn't thoroughly cleaned.
Unfortunately, we're missing a piece of decorative pottery. Perhaps it was broken during the dusting.

It was ok. They missed some spots but overall it was ok. They were on time. They made the bed which was nice. I had asked them to tend special attention to the bathroom and kitchen. All and all they were ok.

They were professional, focused and I barely noticed they were there (I work from home)! Everything was sparkly, shiny and blinds were dust free!(we live among trees so dust pollen is a seasonal issue). I had one concern about cleaning of a shower stall, I mentioned to the owner and he said he would address with the team. Otherwise, an good experience and I've asked Robert to have the same team come on a bi-weekly basis.

I used a coupon from Angie's List to get this housecleaning for $35 and I was very pleased with the promptness of the contact once I paid online, and the promptness of the actual scheduling. The two person crew showed up on time, brought all their own equipment, and did a thorough professional job in under 2 hours. I have two large dogs (retrievers) and the crew did not have a problem with them hanging around observing everything that was going on. I was very pleased with my experience and would use these guys again.

See above. We use a special glass cleaner on our shower doors and the ladies do a good job on them. When we wanted a heavier cleaning of our downstairs rec room, they did an excellent job.

They did a terriffic job! My husband and I were very pleased with their work. I couldn't find anything they had missed- they definitely exceeded expectations. The price seemed a little high- it was $150 total (I don't have much to compare it to, so it may be totally reasonable). But also they agreed to come on Labor Day and with very little notice, and clean a place that had some monster dust bunnies. They also offered me a bit of a discount as an Angies List member, so I was happy enough with the price. I'd pay it again for the great job they did.

In answer to your pedantic and ill-informed response, because it took so long for you to return our calls or return Our key, I had already been forced to change all the locks On the Doors. As such, it was not worth my time to make an appointment, and only then potentially get my key returned. A stable business understands that they do not make their own Failure, the customer's responsibility. Certainly goes with the subpar execution of your work.
