I had a bit of an unusual request but they accommodated and the result is perfect. They even came back to adjust the tension in the door when I noticed it was off a little bit. They are wonderful!

Rich and his crew did an outstanding job replacing rotted or worn siding and trim. The team sanded existing siding down to the bare wood so that the existing and adjoining replacement siding would have a consistent look when painted. They also completed a number of smaller projects, including refurbishing sliding patio doors, repairing drywall, installing weatherstripping, a bedroom door, and a closet rod and replacing doorknobs and deadbolt locks. The entire effort was professional and well organized, with excellent workmanship and a close attention to detail. Rich reviewed the work frequently and made sure we were satisfied.

We had a great experience with Rich and his team for a diverse list of projects we needed done inside and outside our home (fan and light replacement, curtain installation, rotted wood replacement, finishing part of our basement, repairing and weatherproofing doors, caulking). Rich advised us on affordable options, gave us a detailed and specific quote with creative solutions (e.g. for a water shutoff cover panel in an awkward location), communicated proactively about scheduling issues (some of our project needed good weather conditions), were extremely courteous and tidy in completing the projects, talked us through parts of the projects as they went, and did a final walkthrough. We would definitely hire them again next time we need something done around the house.

Door or Window Screens Install or Repair
Housedoctors were extremely responsive, and very quickly scheduled a time to preview the project on-site, recommend a solution, and then come back to install. Very professional and friendly. I am thrilled with the result. They installed a cat/pet door on my patio screen door, a project they had not encountered previously, but did a wonderful job. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Very responsive company, very capable and competent, very honest with the work and the pricing, owner personally checks in with workers to explain day's project. I cannot recommend this company highly enough - for people with one or multiple, work projects. They handle it all in a fair and honest day's work. They repaired and plastered master bathroom ceiling and painted room, fixed two outside doors that did not work and aligned them properly, checked the water drainage around the house and laid new drainage pipes, repaired and replaced parts of wooden fencing along property line, with work done by select highly experienced workers. This company is well established and very reliable. They work quickly and neatly and finish on time, and with a good attitude. These technicians clearly respect their employer and their clients.

House Doctors installed a sliding glass door, replaced and painted cedar siding on the house. They were very professional, highly skilled, and cleaned up their work area so that you didnâ t know that they were there. I would definitely hire House Doctors of McLean again!
