Our kitchen had a very outdated look and was in need of significant renovation. Fernando worked with us on remodeling the entire upstairs living area, along with our walkout deck. After the renovation our kitchen's working area was effectively doubled using an open floor plan, with an island and central fireplace providing a visual and natural division between the living room, kitchen and dining room, providing an open and bright feel. We are very happy with the outcome and results. Pros: We have worked with several contractors over the years and thought that Fernando was very good about giving us multiple plans and great ideas. Fernando was a perfectionist and worked with us through every step of the process and was attentive to our input and desires, while letting us know what was impractical. While hesitant at first with some of his ideas and suggestions, we trusted in his experience and opinion based off the work he had done on a friends house. Some of his ideas such as tearing down a wall, extending the length of the kitchen, rekeying the wood floors, and putting in an island along with a double sided fireplace really made all the difference. Once we saw the finished results we were very happy that we had trusted in his judgment. Cons: Every contracting job has its hiccups, but overall we were very impressed with the quality of work and felt a very good level of trust with Fernando and his workers. The few minor concerns we had were always addressed and taken care of right away. The timing of some of the projects would occasionally run a bit longer than expected, but overall things were done in a timely manner. They were very good about cleaning up the bulk of any mess, protecting the furniture and making the place livable while the renovation was going on. We would definitely use Fernando and his company again and would recommend him to our friends and family.
