Sam Beswick, formerly of Betty's Maytag, also known as Betty's Home Appliance Service, which is now closed, opened Estes Appliance Service to continue to serve his longtime customers as well as new customers. I'm a new customer of Estes Appliance Service and when I called Sam to tell him my washing machine wasn't working, he was able to fit me in his schedule at the end of the day. He diagnosed the problem as needing a new belt and he needed to order one; he promptly returned the next day to install it. He was very competent and professional, and I was thrilled he could repair my machine without it costing too much.
Sam was the 2nd person who diagnosed the problem with my washing machine. The first person was from another repair company in the area (highly rated) who told me he thought I needed a new motor. He quoted me $404 in addition to the $70 service charge. He also said I might just want to buy a new washer/dryer since my laundry center was old. Luckily, I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion from Sam. I will definitely contact him again when another appliance needs repair.
