Within this shop, more than 20 goldsmiths are busy at their craft, arranging breathtaking stones in precious metals. Each piece is made by hand for the customers who come here. And each customer is delighted with the results. Founded in 1985, Dominion Jewelers is a well-kept secret to those who have shopped here. While each piece we craft here is a true work of art, it is also amazing how little one pays for their custom jewelry at our shop. Because our customers are buying directly from the people who make the jewelry, prices are about half of what you'd pay in traditional jewelry stores. Ultra shady. I went in a week ago to get a quote on a bump for my engagement ring and resizing on another ring. They said the bump would be $50 and the other ring $35. I told them I would be back. When I returned today, the guy at the desk on the left totally didn't recognize me. After telling him what I wanted again, he quoted me $75 on the bump. He said that it was because it was white gold, not yellow. I would have bought that story had he not had my ring in his hands last week before quoting me. I explained that he had quoted me something different and he just looked at me with a blank stare. Apparently their quotes are random depending on the day. Totally dishonest.

Two other jewelers told me they couldn't re-attach the post on the earring. Dominion did it on the spot. I will take some of my other jewelry there to be checked and repaired if necessary.

Funny they judged me because I did not like their items, but lost a very good customer since I can more than afford to shop in their store. Of course I WON'T and even if what I was requesting (although I was told on the phone I could get something else) could not be honored, treat all of your customers with RESPECT, hope they know what that means.

Brought in two rings - one to be repaired and both to clean. The guy says if I can wait, it'd be 20 minutes. Otherwise, it'd be a week. I opted for the 20 minutes. While waiting, I stepped out for a fast-food lunch and returned in 15 minutes to find a different person manning the desk. She took my claim check, I waited 5 more minutes, and then the repaired/cleaned rings were handed over to me. They looked great. I handed over a $20 in return and that was that.

Overall, it went well. I had asked if the rings could be ready a week before initially expected and they were. The only thing I found unusual was that after our first visit, there had been no follow up while other family owned stores we visited had kept in touch without being harassing.

For our 50th wedding anniversary, we decided to have a single ring made using the diamonds from my original wedding and engagement rings. Since I am becoming an antique, I wanted the ring to LOOK antique! I also wanted to be able to wear the ring every day, not just for special occasions. Jewelry designer Marsha worked with me patiently for a long time, showing me examples of settings, drawing pictures and helping me conceptualize exactly what could be created. The result--an exquisite ring that makes me happy every time I look at my hand! Dominion Jewelers also resized another ring, turned an antique pin into a pendant and repaired a sterling silver watch band. They were professional, personable and performed the services in a timely manner.

The job they did went very well. I spent about $65 on that work. They did a great job. They soldered my rings back together and fixed the prong and it looks great. The ring was real clean when I picked it up. They said they were going to call me, but they never did and they said it would be the next day and I ended up calling them. I remember that it was not done when they said it would be and was about a day later.

Wonderful. Marsha is top-notch in her field. She helped us select our wedding rings. My ring was a challenge, since it had to match my engagement ring and required some intricate designs. She is very knowledgeable and works with all budgets. Since then, she sold my husband two beautiful pairs of earrings as a gift for me and I love them. They needed adjustments and the shop completed the work right there. They stand behind their products and will even buy them back!
