Direct Current was very easy to deal with and did great work for a good price.  I called to ask for an electrician to come repair two outlets and install a new ceiling fan.  They offered me an appointment for less than a week later.  The technician (Andrew) was punctual and very pleasant to work with.  He did all of the work in less than two hours and made sure the work area was as clean as when he arrived.  Would definitely use them again!

Direct Current is great! I've used them several times and have always been happy with their service, as well as the quality and professionalism of their technicians. I consider this firm to be my electrician provider for my home.

Bob is great and we've used him for help many times. This time he pulled a tech off another job to help with an emergency. They were quick, efficient and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone and will obviously use again!

The dome of my attic fan got taken away by the wind and I needed to replace the whole thing before the upcoming storm. I started making calls in the morning and Direct Current was able to do the job the same day. Which was great news overall, but it came at a cost.
The technician came in late morning as promised and I was pretty much happy expecting that the job would  be done in  a couple of hours. Unfortunately, very soon I realized that he did not plan to adjust any shingles, was not planning to use roofing cement for the isolation and overall did not leave an impression of a guy who knows exactly what he was doing. I had to climb to the roof myself to make sure that at least some basic things I was aware of, have been done. 
Overall, work was done quite sloppyly. Shingles were left in a mess. I was not alerted that the fan I bought was not a good match. After the technician left, I discovered some dirty spots on our white carpet  around the attic door (he did not remove his shoes). And finally, he stunned me the invoice - $342 for 2 hours of labor, which is quite high in my books, at least for this kind of work. 
I am grateful for the responsiveness and that they have the job done, but quite unhappy on everything else. They may be good for certain type of jobs, but if you are looking to replace an attic fan, look for someone else.

It went very well.  They were able to come out and work on short notice, even while other contractors while working on the kitchen.  Chris was efficient and thorough in his work, and did good quality work.  Cost was in line with what we were quoted, and we had no problems in the permit/inspection process.

Best part was very quick response. They got breaker to reset in less than one second but recommended replacement of 30-year old breaker switch and updating to GFCI outlets in bathrooms, to prevent stress on hard to reach breaker system. They listed parts for me to buy to save funds and I have rescheduled another appointment to replace breaker and outlets.
