Denver's Plumbing

We called Denver's Plumbing last night after business hours because we noticed the drain outside our basement door was clogged. They set up an appointment for this morning, and Donnie came right on time. He snaked out the drain (in the pouring rain!) and was very friendly and professional. We would hire Denver's again any time we needed plumbing services.

Excellent work. Denver diagnosed the problem quickly, came up with a unique but very effective way to clear the drain (which was the main drain for the house). Works perfect now.

It went well. we discovered the leak the night before. I called them the next morning and they came out right away. They got the water heater and it was installed by early afternoon. They were very timely.

Extremely knowledgeable. Didn't up sell me at all; actually saved me cost by doing the work a different way that I figured it would be done. No problems since the work was done.

Mark was our plumber and he was great. He came out the same night we called and was very professional. He had to snake our drain several times to get the clog worked out (5 times in all), finally having to use all nine 7'-6and quot; sections to get things flowing again. We could not be happier with the service we received, the response time, diligence in resolving the problem, and willingness to explain the problem and what caused it (construction debris from previous owner, in our case). I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area.

I've used Denver's Plumbing on numerous projects during my home remodel and have yet to be disappointed. Denver's crew was always considerate of my home and made sure to leave it cleaner than it was when they got there. They always went out of their way to inform me of what what they were doing and what I could do myself to minimize costs. As a new home owner, I was unaware of the length of time and permits that were required for remodeling but Denver was patient with the extended schedule and even offered to help with the renovations on his days off, a gesture that went beyond what I expected from a vendor. I would definately recommend their services to anyone looking to have quality plumbing within the DC metro area.

I found him to be very responsive, and nice to work with, but I needed a part replaced on my faucet. Instead of replacing the part, he brought in a substitute part, which did not work well.

Outstanding work, as usual. I've dealt with Denver for 25 years and no problems ever.

I couldn't ask for a better experience. We had a pipe freeze and break. Even in bad weather Denver's team provided same-day service and were efficient and very reasonably priced. We'll be calling them again.

He came on time and repaired the tank in just over an hour. I had been concerned I'd have to get a new tank but he was able to use the original with new fasteners. He also replaced the filling system with a newer version and repaired the shutoff valve.
Coincidentally, a few days later, the flush lever broke (after 17 years of use). I called him back, thinking he may have replaced that with an inferior type. This was not the case but he came the same day and replaced the lever with a new one and charged me nothing for the revisit or the new lever.

Denver did a very good job. He advised us in advance of the type of fixtures that we should buy. He called in advance to let us know when specifically when he would arriving. He completed the job in the time frame and for the cost that was estimated. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, and also very easy to work with. Since it is a very small company, you need to typically call and leave a message and then he calls you back later in the day.

I scheduled an appointment with Denver and he showed up promptly. Denver and I discussed what I needed and he was quite agreeable. Denver did not charge me for the estimate. He also suggested that I take up the floor area where he would run the new gas line to save me time and money. I told Denver that I was getting a couple of other estimates (which I did) and he came in with the best price. His team was professional and thorough, showed up promptly, and cleaned up after themselves. Denver also pulled the County permit for me. Whenever I have left a message for Denver, he has called me back in a reasonable amount of time. I couldn't be more pleased with his work and I plan to have him do the final hook up for me.

He goes back a long time; it's been several years and he is good. He is courteous, on time and does a good job and his price is good. We live in a very expensive area and I think his price is good. I've had so many different people out here and I thought that his price was fair. I've felt that sometimes I've had plumbers and it's not fixed but he's not had to come back for what he fixes.

I was so lucky to find Denver's on Angie's List. I had a small pipe break that caused a huge mess! I looked on Angie's List to find an after hours plumber and I called Denver's. There was no indication that they did emergency work but I called because they were a local business. I got the problem fixed quickly and it was definitely after hours! I'm excited to finally find an honest, skilled plumber!

I called Denver, and I got a call back within a day and they came the same day, right on time and did great, quality work. I would use Denver again.

Have used Denver for years. Very decent guy, but not the easiest to get ahold of. Can sometimes be 24-48 hours. But he is solid and dependable and trustworthy and his work is top-shelf. Seems reasonably priced, but I am not much of a judge on that any more.

They do very good work.

The quality of the work is top notch--no cutting corners or using inferior materials. The old flange had to be removed and replaced with a new one. They poured a lead joint, which is something I've never seen before even though I worked for a plumber one summer a long time ago. The original sink installation was pretty shoddy (fist fulls of putty instead of proper connectors). Denver and the second plumber (whose name I can't remember) completely replumbed it. All of this was done in pretty tight quarters. The work is nice, clean, and tight--a thing of beauty to a craftsman. I used them once before to cap off an old gas line. They did great work then as well. The weak spot in the whole process is that it took them overnight to return my call both times. That's the only reason they didn't get a higher score on "responsiveness." But they showed up exactly on time for both jobs. So long as the job isn't an emergency, they are great. It seems to me that you get two good plumbers for the same or just a little more than you would pay for one. But the main thing is that they are very experienced, knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend them.

I called and left a message roughly outlining the issues. I got a call back the next day (within 24 hours) and we arranged an approximate time for them to come out, a couple of days later (time was approximate because they would be coming from another job). On the day, they were quite a bit later than the estimated time but not obnoxiously so. They did the work very rapidly, were friendly yet professional, left the place clean and explained to me what the problems had been. All in all an excellent experience.
