I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Daisy Fresh Cleaning Company. The two cleaners arrived at my home wearing their shoes, despite the fact that I make it a point to keep my home shoe-free. This was a bad start, but unfortunately it only went downhill from there. After two and a half hours of cleaning, I was shocked to see the state of my kitchen. The stove top was left with visible soap marks, the sink was badly scratched, and there were wet water marks all over the floors. It was clear that the cleaners had done a subpar job and had used harsh materials that damaged my sink. When I contacted customer service to express my dissatisfaction, I was met with a lackluster response. They stated that their cleaners never remove their shoes unless they are specifically asked to, which is ironic for a cleaning company. Furthermore, they suggested that it was my responsibility to quality check their work before letting them leave my home, as if I'm supposed to be checking behind their backs. In response to their request for evidence, I sent pictures of the poor job they did, but even that was not enough. The manager called and apologized, but then had the audacity to ask for even more pictures. I felt like I was being forced to communicate back and forth with the company and waste more of my own time. Overall, my experience with Daisy Fresh Cleaning Company was extremely disappointing. I will never work with this company again and strongly advise anyone considering hiring them to think twice. The fact that they did not even remove their shoes upon entering my home shows a lack of respect and professionalism. Additionally, their substandard cleaning job and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Save yourself the time and frustration and hire a different cleaning company. Also, I was asked to pay $180 at the end!

I would suggest that anyone considering this company read the poorly rated reviews and here's why. When the owner/manager came the first time, it was all smiles and sales. She encouraged me to write a review right away after the first cleaning because she said that the supervisor would get a bonus. So of course I did that. The work was great and the workers were lovely. So if you read why many have given a poor rating it is likely because the first time is wonderful. Since then, multiple issues and lousy cleaning. And by the way I pick up all items off the floor so that they do not have to move a thing. This townhouse is all of 18 feet wide. Two small bathrooms with glass doors which they are NOT asked to clean nor do I ask them to wet mop BR floors. Another bathroom which they are only asked to clean the sink and toilet and a third very tiny powder room. The kitchen is very small. So here are some examples of poor work: they suck the fringe of oriental carpets into the cleaner, they vacuum the floors and are very rough on the surrounding, they dust some things but it is different every time, for example they will skip the pictures or the windowsills, today they were not using polish at all, they did not do anything to the wood floors and did not use wood cleaner on the floors, and so on. I called the owner/manager who immediately defended the work, told me I had too many details and she could not tell me exactly what I could expect each time they came; they rotate things. What baloney! She told me otherwise when I signed up. Now suddenly she can't tell the customer what to expect for the $130. They skip things and are in and out of here in record time. Then she once again referred to me by some pet name that she uses all the time and I told her not to address me that way as I am 71 years old. I said I would have to call her back because I was so annoyed/angry at her refusal to hear the customer that I did not want to continue the conversation further at this time. She said she would cancel the service. I said I am not cancelling the service I am trying to discuss it. Then she said I am cancelling your service. I don't need to put up with this. Well, this is for the best.

They started out great and declined QUICK! When I called to say it was getting worse each cleaning and the last one literally doesn’t even look like they cleaned the owner responded “I don’t know what to tell you it is what it is”. When I said why couldn’t I get my original team back she sarcastically claimed, “we cannot send them, they have been terminated my dear”. If I could give negative stars I would! Do not bother with Daisy Fresh!

Scheduling the service was a breeze. I said I needed a same-day, deep clean of everything. Connie asked if I wanted the refrigerator and oven cleaned, I said yes, everything. So, they were able to come out in the afternoon and the ladies were very prompt. I let them in and they confirmed that I wanted the oven and the fridge cleaned, which was great. I asked if they needed me to be there while they cleaned and they said no, so I left them to do their thing which is what I usually do for cleaning ladies. I came back later and was baffled. There were spots of stuff they did not get up off the floor (which I got up with some very gentle scrubbing), most of the baseboards were not wiped or dusted, chair rail molding was not wiped or dusted, there were obvious markings of spilled things on a few walls and doors that were not wiped (which I easily wiped off with a damp rag), cabinets and drawers were not wiped, freezer was not even touched, and the oven had a spot of gunk that need to be wiped off on one side of the inside. And the bathrooms had already been cleaned so they did not need any extreme time or effort (and I can tell you they definitely did not get anything extra) so I still don't know how they spent 5.25 hours of labor on the work that they actually did. When Connie called to ask about the service the next day I told her I was pretty disappointed. She offered to send a team back, I asked if the afternoon would work and she said the ladies had the afternoon off so I told her there was nothing more she could do then. When I got the invoice a week later I was shocked that there was no credit reflected, especially since I was a new client and I had expressed serious dissatisfaction with the service that I received. When I questioned the invoice I was surprised by how unprofessional the response was, she said payment is due within 3 days of service at which point it is subject to late fees, etc. So that was the tone of the response which, to be honest, I really disliked. Particularly when I didn't even receive the invoice until a week after the service. I'm truly sorry to say that I can never recommend Daisy Fresh and will never hire them again.

Offered to send team back immediately; however, it was not convenient for her that day or next day..as she had renters moving in. Subsequent, emails upon collections...her demands continued to criticize statements to our company's "failings...to include our invoicing not legible or clear to her liking to be re-issued...to describe our work to be "as though they didn't do anything"...progressed. 5 staff members were involved on her account from beginning to end...3 cleaners, 2 managers...and confirmed...she was looking to "just not pay or have a discount"."

A Heartfelt Thank You for Daisy Fresh Virginia. When Irene, from Daisy Fresh first arrived to give me an initial estimate, after a warm greeting everything about the offered services was explained to me in detail. I was shown what would be cleaned and most of the cleaning process was explained. Areas needing special attention were pointed out to me that I had not noticed before. All my many questions were answered. Special requests were treated with dignity and understanding. I felt confident in the work that would be done. Competitor estimates in some cases were much less memorable and, in some cases, did not appear to want my business at all. This was my first-time using Daisy Fresh of Virginia. I have used other cleaning services in other places I have previously lived, however, none of them can hold a candle to Daisy Fresh and their attention to even the smallest of details. I was highly impressed with the service and support I received throughout the entire experience. The cleaning rates are more than fair with many flexible plans. The professionalism and demeanor of all staff were above and beyond what I expected. They truly cared about me and my well-being in the environment in which I lived. It is a basement level apartment requiring some unique care. They do use very high-quality cleaning supplies The team arrived a few days after the initial estimate promptly as promised. It took several hours before everything was completely cleaned but the wait was well worth the fantastic results achieved. It was obvious that they truly cared about their work checking and re-checking each individual room repeatedly. I understand that the first visit is always the longest and most challenging. My home is significantly cleaner now than it was when I first moved in. I will continue to use this stellar five-star service regularly for a long time to come.

Daisy Fresh's team did an amazing deep clean for my first clean so I decided to get regular cleanings every 2 weeks after that. It is not always the same team of people but no matter the team, they are thorough. I have used a different company in the past but they always seemed to miss cleaning something in my house. Daisy Fresh opened my eyes to how much my other cleaners were missing. I have and will continue to recommended Daisy Fresh to friends and family.

I called and left a message on a Sunday to schedule a cleaning last minute, when I found out I was having unexpected visitors in the coming week. I was delighted to receive a call back the same day and the cleaning was scheduled for the very next morning! A mother- daughter team arrived promptly in the morning and did a fabulous job cleaning. The house needed a lot of attention since I had not been able to keep up with routine cleaning the last month due to some family health issues. The work was detailed, and I appreciated that items were moved to guarantee that all floors areas would be clean. Great job ladies!

Great job! They are here a few minutes late, but it is understandable due to the traffic on 495. They are very patient. They ask me to check after they finish every place, and a few small things I point out and they quickly fixed it, very responsible. I will hire them again.

Daisy Fresh provided an excellent service for my condo. The estimated time for cleaning was spot on, and the ladies who cleaned were very meticulous and professional. I hired the service for the party, but after seeing how well the team cleaned, I decided to hire them on a regular interval. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who's thinking about getting a maid service.

Again, I think the team(s) we had 2, which was also problematic since you didn't always know who would be cleaning were over taxed with too many homes to clean. And management did not perform checks in homes to see how things were going, no quality assurance which I brought up to the management team but it went to deaf ears. We also never got our key back. Definitely not a great experience. Mostly lip service.

I purchased a $150 coupon from Angie's List for 4 hours of cleaning. When setting up the appointment, the gentleman on the phone explained that I could expect two women who would clean for two hours each. I explained that my priorities were my kitchen, master bathroom, and one small half bath. The women showed up on time, were very professional. and cleaned these three rooms thoroughly. I was a little bit disappointed that $150 could only get me these three areas cleaned, but the women worked the whole time so I guess there was more work to be done than I realized! I would definitely hire them again.
