We asked Jeff to re-trench and rebuild weight bearing retaining walls that were 20+ years old and had tumbled. We had other vendors that we contacted that were interested in re-landscaping our entire yard, which was not really necessary for this project. Jeff came out and evaluated the situation, making recommendations from an engineering perspective on what we needed to do to rebuild the walls with better structural integrity, which would prevent them from tumbling again. We agreed that in a mature garden with transplanting requirements, this was a great winter project. His crew arrived on time, completed the job in an efficient and expedient manner, and the quality of the work was outstanding. They were respectful of the property, and cleaned up each day. They tore down and rebuilt the walls (using the same stone which saved us on the materials) to be much sturdier. They trenched with gravel and added heavy capstone to the top of the wall, to ensure the structural integrity. They completed the job in 2.5 days. The quality of the work was excellent, as was the price. I would recommend Classic Stonescaping for any outdoor projects.

We had an outstanding experience working with Jeff and his team at Classic Stonescaping & Gardens. They delivered beautiful results (stone walkways, steps, and retaining walls) and were timely, thorough, courteous, and minimized the impact of the project on our daily lives (in terms of us still being able to access our driveway and garage). Jeff did a great job communicating with us throughout the project, bringing us in at the right times to make decisions, and letting us know what to expect at various project milestones. Jeff also made recommendations that resulted in a great looking finished product. I would highly recommend Classic Stonescaping & Gardens and plan to use them again.

One of the GREATEST experiences working with a contractor ever. Jeff and his team were timely, professional, and true craftsmen. We are thrilled with the 2 patios, fire pit and walkways they created. We were able to change plans with a simple discussion with Jeff or his foreman. The best part . . . they always accommodated us, but were honest when telling us that our ideas may result in the best end result. We will use Classic Stonescaping for all of our future projects.

Jeff and his team did an wonderful job constructing our new patio. They removed 20 yards of dirt due to our sloping property, amazing how hard they worked removing the soil by wheelbarrow. Then they created a new lighted retaining wall and patio. Project took 6 full days and Jeff was very helpful in picking out the stone. Overall we are very pleased with the outcome and the quality of work Jeff and his team completed.

Working with Classic and Jeff could not have gone better. He was extremely professional in his approach and we appreciated his sensitivity to our budget concerns. His crew was dedicated and timely. They did the worst of the work during the worst of the heat in late June. He and his crew were very easy to work with in terms of coming to agreement on ideas for what to do--those decisions that always come up during a project. The results have transformed our patio and yard into a stunning, inviting, and open space.

The materials arrived in advance and the workers arrived on time the day of the project. They were dedicated to the work and worked hard throughout the day. They asked our opinion as they progressed so we got exactly what we wanted. We thought it was great that they not only were dedicated to doing a great job, they wanted to be sure we were happy with the final product. It turned out beautiful! Best of all, they cleaned up EVERYTHING. Every piece of gravel, every bit of material was cleaned up and they left the house and patio in perfect shape; ready for a cook out! We were so impressed by the professionalism, and how hard they worked to make it perfect for us! We would recommend them to anyone who needs any stone work. They were super!

Jeff Jones and his team from Classic Stonescaping were wonderful to work with and did a great job on our two level patio. We had to wait several months from when we signed the contract to when they began the work, but it was worth the wait. We are super happy with the finished product! Our new outdoor space includes a unique cooking station for making paellas. Jeff helped design this cooking station as a versatile element. Jeff's approach to our whole project was professional, creative, and practical. We have enjoyed our backyard more in the last month than we did in the 15+ years we have lived in our house.

We were very impressed with Jeff's professionalism, he was extremely responsive, the crew was punctual and respectful, every little detail that we asked for was attended immediately. This was not an easy project and due to the type of caps we have selected, many cuts were needed to create a circular wall around one tree. Jef's crew was extremely patient and understanding, the project turned out beautiful !

My husband and I used Classic Stonscaping to grade our backyard, install a fieldstone retaining wall, place a speed drain, and some plantings. Working with the owner, Jeff, was very easy. He is very responsive, hands on, and cares about the quality of work. To this day, Jeff answers all my emails with random questions. The results of the work speak for themselves. They are done to such a high level of workmanship. Everyone who comes over to our house comments on the wall and wants a referral, which we gladly give with confidence. If you are looking for a landscaper that is reasonably priced and takes pride in the work, look no further than Classic Stonescaping.

We didn't see the pavers until the initial installation was nearly done, and there was an issue with the supplier's lot - the color on some had a reddish tint than we did not want. Company head Jeff Jones came right over, immediately agreed with us, and the next day he and his crew spent hours removing the most incompatible pavers, selecting and replacing them with the light grey we wanted. The result was really excellent -- color and workmanship, and the neighbors walking by were very positive even before the polymeric sand joints were filled. The result is superior to a custom stone driveway: more durable, yet very stylish and an excellent fit for our home with its grey flagstone walkways. We could not be more impressed and satisfied. It was not cheap but we wanted a driveway that would suit our 1927 colonial home, and we got it. You really take the measure of a contractor when there is a potential problem, and this one stepped up and absolutely met our standards. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Jeff and his crew did a wonderful job. They were on time each day, worked very hard and consistently through the complete job. They worked with us to modify elements on the fly that led to a really beautiful addition to our property. Unlike other construction projects, there was no lingering issues dragging on over days or weeks. Jeff got the job going and finished in the time table he set forth and DID IT. We couldn't be more pleased.

I contacted Jeff Jones in early March. We met and walked the backyard and discussed our "vision". He made several suggestions both on design and possible materials. Jeff e-mailed me a proposal a few days later. It was a bit more than I could spend so we exchanged a few more e-mails about how we could reduce the cost. Jeff provided a revised proposal that worked with my budget so we agreed to proceed. Jeff had warned me that with his workload, it might be early summer before he could start but he had an opening and contacted me - I told him to go ahead and his crew started work on April 20th. The crew worked quickly and neatly - there was very little mess and they cleaned up every day when they were done. We had a few days a steady rain that slowed progress a little bit but it was entirely completed by April 28th. We are very happy with the result and the experience of working with Jeff Jones and Classic Stonescaping.

We are thrilled with the results of the backyard patio that Jeff and his team at Classic Stonescaping renovated for us. The quote was very reasonable, the work was fast, efficient and the result is beautiful. We appreciated the way they took into account the importance of providing the correct slope to drain any water away from the house, and how they noticed (and corrected) another drainage issue. We were also pleased with the care they took to protect our lawn from all the supplies, equipment and foot-traffic that moved back and forth during the entire project. Our yard looks great. Jeff told us his team has been working together for 10 years, and it is quite obvious in the smooth and professional way that they operate. We would highly recommend Classic Stonescaping & Gardens for any landscaping project!

Jeff did a GREAT job - we couldn't be more pleased. Here are just some of the things that impressed us: -- he gave us the lowest bid of the three we solicited -- he told us (in November) that he would do the project in early to mid-February, which in contractor-speak usually means May or June at the earliest - BUT he called in early February just as promised -- he did the project quickly (it was the replacement of an old, crumbling retaining wall with a more modern wall with steps) -- his final price was below his bid -- his team used the driveway to remove the debris from the old wall, and when they were finished the removal there was NO evidence the driveway had been used -- he clearly explained the options available to us, and gave us exactly what we chose; the work is very professional and looks great we recommend him highly and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
