Pretty darn well.  Nelson Gomez is a trustworthy guy who stands by his word.  We wrote a pretty detailed contract b/c we didn't know what we were getting into and didn't know Nelson.  But he came through.  We had the contract ready to roll on the day we bought the house - Nelson's crew was in the next morning at 9am beginning demo.  No joke.  His guys work hard, and they're nice guys.  They finished demo in two weeks, had the place framed in another 2 or 3 weeks.  HVAC, electrical and plumbing followed.  Our project required only two change orders on requests we had that went above/beyond the contract.  Nelson was fair on those - but it's always worth talking through with the contractor what work is in/outside of contract.  Nelson worked with us to identify flooring, roofers, and other things we needed but he wasn't under contract to provide.  He works well with other contractors and is often at the worksite.Only complaint would be 1) some of his employees are less careful than others, 2) he's not the greatest on email, 3) sometimes he surprises you with requests like, "I need all your lights in 36 hours."  But, 1) when you ask him to fix stuff, he does, 2) he's good on text and 3) well, sometimes a request like that will force you to make decisions. Nelson takes pride in his work and is a jovial dude.  I would recommend him for bigger projects.  He also provided us what was BY FAR the best quoted price for the work.  By FAR.
