It went very well. The only comment I would have is that they should cover their feet coming in the house. They got it done very fast. We have used them twice.

It took 4 hours to complete the move and the movers were professional and worked diligently.

Andrew was easy to work with. On the day before the move, he sent a crew to pack my kitchen and fragile items. On the day of the move, the crew was able to get my entire apartment emptied in 3 hours, which was the time limit on the loading dock. We had a lot of fragile things and electronic equipment, and everything was packed and moved professionally to our new condo. They got all this done in one day despite having to deal with elevators, narrow halls, and building rules. We had problems with one of the bed assemblies , which Andrew immediately came back and fixed. Their prices were also substantially less than virtually all of the competition. I would hire BU Movers again without reservation.

The actual move itself was efficient! The movers were great, they wrapped up and protected all of my items, and put the furniture where I wanted in my new apartment. However, getting the movers to my original apartment was aggravating. I appreciated the flexibility with scheduling a short notice move, but I wasn't quite sure the crew would show up until they were actually there. I didn't get a confirmation of any kind, and they were forty minutes late.

They came in a huge truck, four guys wrapped my piano in blankets and some clear plastic and then covered sides with some boards, do not even know the name for those things. And then they picked it up and loaded inside of their truck

It was local move within VA and a friend of mine recommended the company Best Universal Movers.
As everyone knows moving can be stressful and horrible experience. But using this company the moving can actually be stress free and pretty easy. The people lifting my boxes were very careful. None of the items were damaged during the delivery process. The people I spoke to were very kind. The movers actually took the time  to wrap up all my furniture! The pricing was great for the service I got too ?
So it was the easiest move I've had. When it came to unpacking, they helped put all the heavy furniture exactly where I wanted, without damaging anything. I've already referred a few friends to them who will be moving soon. Many thanks!

It went extremely well.  . Andrew was professional and responsive in the initial scheduling and confirming his availability. They communicated well and were reasonably priced as I had done a few price comparisons.  They arrived later than expected but only because we were the 2nd job of the day and that is hard to predict as they were coming from their first job in Maryland. Andrew listened closely as my husband explained what needed to be done and some specific details that were important. They carefully wrapped everything that needed wrapping up and worked diligently and were treating our things with respect and caution.  There were some large pieces and they were really careful with them.. Finally, tfhey did a great job at packing our storage unit in order to maximize the space.  My husband and I were very pleased. We would use them again and we would recommend them!

The movers arrived on time.  They performed the duties of moving my furniture in the time that was alloted by my offer.  The company representative, Andrew, call to make sure everything was going as planned.  The movers were very professional and the company was very interested in me being satisfied with the service.

Well guys did GREAT job AGAIN . I remember my friend was moving and was very happy about them that's why I called to this company. I didn't expect that they will have so much patience. In the middle of moving process it started rain heavily. But they were insistently doing their job. They were disassembling, wrapping and assembling all my furniture very carefully, and were using a different tools to make everything more safe and fast, so that was understandable that they are professionals and know what they are doing. But the best thing is their positive attitude even though it were hard conditions cause they moved big pieces of furniture in the basement of townhouse in DC, and everybody know how small buildings are there and how tight are entrances. But they were smiling and joking so make time go faster and we didn't notice how everything was done. That was great experience, SECOND TIME I'm absolutely satisfied with their service. The move occurred on perhaps the worst possible day of the year.  It rained the night before and was cloudy and 82 degrees by 8:30 AM, so the humidity was outrageous. Just as things were drying out a bit, new clouds rolled in, the sky opened up and it dumped for 30 minutes...followed by more sun and even worse humidity. These guys did not complain (to me) and just  busted their humps all day to get the job done.  Move start was scheduled for between 9 and 10, they arrived at 9:30, right on time.
They were extremely conscientious about wrapping every piece of furniture, moving exactly what I wanted.  Despite being absolutely beat and the end of the say, when I asked them to move a few heavy pieces around and reassemble some of the furniture they had taken apart, they obliged quickly and without complaint., very professional.  There were a few minor bumps, a dropped box here and a misplaced  (ie wrong location)one there, but they were hustling in the end to avoid more rain that started to come down, so it was understandable. I havent yet opened  every box but so far nothing is missing and nothing is broken.
i called a couple of places and their price for a 4 man crew seemed very reasonable. We got our moneys worth.  I would recommend using them.

Hired this co. to move our apartment from DC to NJ over a 2 day period as both apartments had 9-5 move in / out hours. Andrey and his team were delayed on the move out due to weather but they made up for it and worked hard to move us out in time. They were careful and got us moved in the next day with nothing broken or damaged.

Andrey was responsive prior to the move with questions and getting our move in building the requested insurance certificate.

Very professional, reasonably priced and nice guys. Can't ask for more. Highly recommended. Glad I went with my gut and took a chance with them.

Andrew is fabulous to work with. He and his team took great care with our belongings and worked quickly and efficiently. We had a refrigerator that needed to be moved into the garage, and furniture in the basement that needed to be moved around, and they did whatever we asked them to do. On the return trip in July, the team specified to do our job ran into a difficult situation on the job prior to ours, and did not show up at the time designated. When we called Andrew, he was just returning into town from his vacation, but immediately came to our home with another team to ensure our job got done that evening. We do wish that other team had gotten in touch with Andrew when they realized the job they were on was running late, and that someone had contacted us. Andrew is easy to get in touch with, and very responsive. We will use his company with any moving or packing that we would need in the future.

It took them 3.0 hours for the whole move to my new studio apartment. They offer a free packing materials and cover sheets for the wood furniture. I did have my wood shelf with the drawers, that did not have any scratches after the move.
They were also very attentive to my personal opinion, where I would like to put the bed and shelf, so they could move it to the exact places I pointed.
Overall I am totally satisfied with my moving company and they did a great job!
